There's a knock on the CEO's office.

"Come in." A cup is placed on Mim's table.
"Bonnie, I'm fine you don't have to worry."
"For your hangover." The CEO looks up when the voice is not Bonnie.
"P'View?" Her eyes moved to the cup.
"What's in it P'?"
"I read that ginger tea is great help."
Mim grimace in distaste.
"I know it doesn't sound tasty, but you should drink it." View chuckles.

After their short meetings and learning that the hangover is still taking a toll on Mim. View dropped her work to buy Mim ginger tea at the nearby coffee shop.

"I appreciate it P'View, but you could just tell Bonnie to bring it up to me." Mim stands up to stretch her muscles.

View stares at the revealing skin exposed to her in a daze, her mouth feels dry.... Has she mentioned how powerful Mim looks in suits?

She has always been the most gorgeous girl but right here standing, a raised eyebrow or a scrunched expression from Mim can make View weak in the knees and her palms sweaty.

"It's a quick trip."
"Will you drink it?" View didn't mean for her voice to sound so excited but it happened.
.... Mim also noticed her change of tone.
"I will drink it later."
"But it's best to drink hot, I think you should drink it now."
Mim put her hands in her dress pants pockets.
"Are you just worrying about me? Or are you commanding me P'View?"

View eyes flew open, but she made the wrong choice cause Mim's appearance was too lethal for any human to withstand.

"Of... of course not, I'm in no place to command you, you're my boss." A panicked chuckle escapes View.
"Hmm, I say that I will drink it later."
Mim walks to the front of her desk, leaning onto it.
"I... I know, but.." View's about to turn into a puddle at Mim's heated gazes.
"You could have told Bonnie about my condition or told her to bring the tea up to me, but you chose to do it yourself."
"After you took me home last night, it did raise a few questions P'View."

View didn't know how "awake" Mim was last night, and she's super intimidating when talking about the topic.

"First of all, last night Bonnie asked me to bring you home, so it's not my idea." View needs to at least save herself some dignity, even though she would do anything to be closer to Mim.

"Are you afraid that there's going to be rumors about us?" View ask back.
"No, rumors are just rumors and my dating life is none of anyone's business" That was cold.
"Then I don't think I need to explain my actions any further." View didn't know what sparked the surge of confidence within her.

Mim fixed her piercing gaze on View.
"Make me."
"I'm sorry?"
"Since you're so persistent P'View, make me drink the tea. Use your persuasive skill."
View couldn't tell if Mim was mocking her or not, as her expression remained unchanged.

She takes a step forward, but unfortunately, View isn't the carefree, flirtatious teenager she once was.
Now, at 27, with a successful career and a boss she used to date ironically standing right in front of her, dating feels like a distant memory.
It's been so long since her last date that she might as well have forgotten how to flirt especially when the girl in question is her ex, who now holds the power over her paycheck.

"I can't."
....
"Because I'm your ex? Or your boss P'View?" Mim reached behind her for the strange, still-steaming cup of tea. She brings it up to her lips and takes a slow sip.
View pauses before responding.
"What's with all this self-therapy, and those interrogation style questions?"
"Are you pressured?" Mim hides her smirk behind the cup.

View wanted to be locked inside her room.
"You already drink the tea, and it seems like you're stronger than ever. So excuse me."
"Why don't we talk for a bit more P'View, amused me."
"I'm not your toy, and I'm not here to entertain you." View's voice comes out harshly. She misses sweet little Mim, CEO Mim can be hot all she wants but she wants her baby back.

Apparently, Mim has pushed the wrong button.
"If you stayed, I will stop asking questions. I only want to talk P'."
"Why? I don't think there's anything for us to discuss here."
"We do. You still owe me a lot of answers." Mim's stern voice and darker expression mean she's not playing around.

View knows Mim is right. She handles their relationship with carelessness, even cruelty. Mim has every reason to hate her, to hold a grudge, and to make her suffer for it.

"I have work..."
"Your team can manage without you for a while P'View, if anything comes up, it's only an elevator away." Mim's not taking no for an answer.

View sucks in a big breath, nodding.
"Shall we move to the sofa?"
View plopped down in defeat while Mim casually brings her cup over.
"Just so you know, if things get weird, I'm walking straight out that door, okay?"
"Fair enough." Mim agreed while leaning back against the sofa, resting her head on one hand.
"You need to stop staring at me like that." View wipes her sweaty hands on her jeans.
"I think you've gotten more cute and less of a playgirl."

The intense, choking atmosphere earlier quickly evaporated, clearing the air for both of them. Mim after a night out is terrifying, her mood swings are unpredictable and all over the place.

View could die, the way Mim jumps from topic to topic makes it hard to keep up.
"Mim."
"Okay, okay, sorry." Mim drinks her ginger tea.

"Hold on, I have never been a playgirl before."
The CEO blinked.
"I guess so, but you're a real womanizer."
"Pfft, speak for yourself, 'high school sweetheart'." View mentioned Mim's nickname in high school.
"I have my fair share of admirers but it was nothing compared to your fan club P'View." Mim rolls her eyes.
No, they are not flirting or comparing who's more famous.

"Ginger tea is not that bad isn't it?" View says after Mim puts down the empty cup.
"Yes, it's not that bad when you transfer it into an actual cup."
"Thank you for this and for bringing me home last night P'View."
"You're so welcome."
"I still can't recover from knowing Bonnie had a girlfriend?"
"I honestly thought she had a thing for Prim."
"That's news to me as well, she's quiet like that. About Prim, I think it's never gone over the celebrity crush line."
They're having a conversation like old friends, updating each other on their lives.
"What about P'Love and P'Tu?"
"P'Love is married as you can tell from the big diamond on her finger, and P'Tu is happily single."
"Hmm, so there are three single people in your gang, counting you?" Mim pointed a finger at View.

"Are you gathering information about them?"
"Busted, will you path the way for me then P'?" Mim smirk.
"Nope." View gave a sarcastic smile, there's no way she'd let Mim fall into their arms, especially after Mim sorted her into the 'single' category along with them as her potential 'girlfriend'.

"Do you remember our teenage years Mim?"
"Of course, I mean me and Bonnie were already troublemakers then, and you're the definition of a girl crush."
"You flatter me Mim, aren't you the perfect child that steals every mom's heart?"
Memories from the past were quietly replayed in both their heads.

------Flashbacks to when Mim's 13 years old and View's 15 years old.

"Mim, you're a savior." View's Mom welcomed Mim with a hug and kissed the crown of her head.
"She's still sleeping, Mama?" Mim giggles.

The nickname slipped out easily, she'd started calling View's parents 'mama' and 'papa' not long after they became close, and somehow, it just stuck.
View's Mom never corrected her, in fact, she always seemed secretly pleased by it.

"You know her hon, your P'View is a grumpy monster in the morning."
"I will go wake her up." Mim grins, already dashing up the stairs like it's a daily mission.

This had been her morning job for years, tiptoeing into View's room to find her curled up like a burrito, ignoring every groan, and trying to wake her without getting the world's slowest glare in return.

"P'View, P'View, your favorite alarm clock is here." She stands next to the bed, leaning over slightly to call out.
"It's time to wake up."
Mim wants to say in View's ears but the older girl is prepared and leaves no space for Mim to attack.

She hears grumbles coming from the blanket.
"Come on P'View, it's your first day of high school. You can't be late." She poked View's covered shoulder after tapping her feet impatiently. Mim huffed.
"P'View, on the count of three if you don't wake up, then I will steal your bunny plushie for my duck friend."
"One."
....
"Two."
....
"Two and a half... this is your last chance P'."
"Thr.."
Mim's voice cuts off mid-sentence, replaced by a breathless yelp as she's suddenly pulled down onto the bed, straight into View's arms.

View fixed the blanket to cover both of them, her ears vividly catching Mim's light giggle, a side of her lips curved up.

"Your punishment for threatening me is turning into my body pillow."
"It's not threatening if I'm just doing my job." Such a brilliant comeback.
"Hmm, I know you always wake me up earlier than I have to, now be good, no more talking." View's voice was thick with sleep, hugging Mim closer.

The younger girl sighs in defeat, giving in as she snuggles into View's arms, resting her head on her chest while looping an arm around her waist, letting the contagious sleepiness from View pass to her.

-After millions of pictures taken by View's Mom.

"I almost don't want to wake them up, Bonnie." While her mom is in awe at the scene. Bonnie can't relate, she's about to be late as well because Mim is here cuddling her P'.
"I'm sorry Mrs but they need to get up 20 minutes ago."
Bonnie walks to Mim's side.

"MIM! WAKE UP NOW!." Mim jolts up at Bonnie's loud voice.
"Omg! Don't scream like that Bon, I almost got a heart attack."
"Please." Bonnie added cheekily.
"Urgh, since when did I allow kids inside my room?"
View sits up and stretches, trying to get her body to actually function.

"Good morning Mom."
"Morning baby, you're up at the right time." Her Mom teased and then left downstairs.

View goes into the bathroom to get ready.
"Kids? Am I also banned from entering your room P'View." Mim hugs View's bunny plushie.
"Did I say kids? I meant one in particular."
"You, Bonnie." View checks her uniform in the mirror.
"No way." Bonnie scoffed.
"I heard it too Mim, she said kids, plural."
Mim smiled at them, they're funny and sometimes banter in front of her.

"What's wrong with being my kid? You know I'm pretty popular~" View struck a pose, winking at them.

Bonnie felt her breakfast up to her throat, but when looking at her best friend Bonnie was too young to understand what were the emotions in her eyes, so she went with admiration at that time.

"I would rather be Mim's kid."
View cackles, she can tell Bonnie's jealous because she thinks View stole her bestie, turning to Mim she asks again.
"What about you little Mim? Do you want to be my kid?"
Mim fake thinking.
"I have Mom and Mama, but... I want to be P'View's kid too."
"Aww, I knew that Mim will choose me."
"Shushh, P'View, this is a secret between us."
The two then laugh their ass off, bending over while Bonnie still doesn't understand what's funny, and what's the context.

"You guys are no fun, I'm outta here. Better come down soon Mim."
"Okay, Bon Bon."

"How do I look?" View smiles.
"Very beautiful P'View."
The younger girl always thought View's beautiful growing up, her features were even more defined now, yet still soft and sweet.
"Thank you, I hope that's not a biased compliment." View jokes.

View holds Mim's hand while walking downstairs, rubbing the back of her neck embarrassed, she speaks softly.

"From now on,  you shouldn't come to wake me up anymore Mim, you also have school, and Bonnie's going to hate me."
"Don't worry, P'View, my Mom hasn't scolded me once before, and Bonnie thinks of you as her older sister already."
Mim stops a little.
"And... I wanted to hang out with you before school starts. I know you will be busy once you're in high school." There's a soft wave of sadness in Mim's voice.

As they reach the bottom of the stairs, View's Mom stands there with a hand over her heart, clearly moved by what Mim just said.

Bonnie doesn't react much, thinking Mim is somewhat exaggerating.
They're neighbors after all, one step and they're practically together. She's convinced Mim has had more sleepovers at View's than at her house.

-After her first day, View was tired and drained.

As she approached her family's bakery, she glimpsed through the large glass window and saw Mim sitting at one of the tables, hunched over her homework with a half-eaten slice of cake in front of her.

View stepped inside, quietly signaling to the bakers to stay silent about her arrival as she made her way toward the younger girl.

"How's my favorite kid today?" View asked, her voice light.
Mim looked up, startled, as View dragged out a chair and sat down facing her.
"Mama said you will come straight home?"
View smile.
"Are you not happy to see me?" She asked, pretending to be hurt.
"No, no, no, P'View, I'm really happy right now!" Mim replied quickly.
"Hmm, I will let it slide."
View ruffled Mim's hair, a habit she never seemed to grow out of.

Whenever they were together, she'd either play with her hair, pinch her cheeks, or gently poke her forehead just to get a reaction.

"P'View~" Mim's baby voice comes out as expected, looking down to hide her blush.
"Wahh~ Did I make you blush?"
View also uses her baby voice back while Mim blushes harder.
"You're so cute." View reaches forward to pinch Mim's cheeks but stops when she hears squeals.

Everyone in the shop is staring at them, some are even recording... as they should because nothing and View means nothing in this world can beat Mim's cuteness when she's all red.

View grinned from ear to ear, basking in Mim's cuteness overload. The younger girl was her personal energy booster, effortlessly casting away the exhaustion from her long day.

---End of flashbacks.

"I think you were kind of my sexual awakening back then, P'View."
Mim cackles after seeing View's horrified shocked face, and she starts moving around nervously.
"What the... that's... that's so weird." View stumbles over her words.
"Sorry P'. I forgot you're not Bonnie." Mim turns away, sipping water.

'what the hell did they usually talk about?' View think but didn't ask out loud.

"The door's wide open by the way P'."
"I'm fine."
View's not. She's lucky to still have her butt on the sofa.
"I remember being totally amazed by you in your high school uniform."
"Really? Why? I don't think I look that good back then."
"Are you kidding, P'? You didn't went first day and immediately claimed the school prom queen title for no reason."
"How could you remember that?"
"... Guess I'm good at remembering, when it's you." Her voice is calm, too calm like her emotions are locked away.

View nods, nerves rising. If what Mim tells her is true, then the day they break up must've been devastating.

"There's something in the past you do that I always wanted to try P'View."
"Huh? What.."
View gets distracted when Mim suddenly stands up in front of her. She swallows hard, her palms growing more sweaty. The CEO is too close now and View doesn't know where to look.

Mim smiles sweetly down at View, towering over her. Then, reaching out, she tousles View's hair with a soft, gentle touch, fingers tangled in View's silky dark locs.

After getting View's hair all messy, giving her a wild look, Mim chuckles.
"So this is the feeling, I like it a lot, P'View."
Mim leaves the room as if nothing happened like she didn't just rock View's world with a gesture she'd grown too familiar with over the years to this day.

View sits motionless in the CEO's office, questioning her entire existence.
