Commonly accepted that money and leisure time are considered of a great importance in people’ live. However, they are conflicting because some people may prefer to have a low paying job for shorter working time so that they can be more time spending with their friends and family. In my opinion, I would rather be given a higher paying job with longer working hours. Even if I would have a little free time with my friends and family. I don’t care about the free time spending with my friends and my family nowadays; I really care about the money. Besides, all my friends and family member are busy in working. Furthermore, if I don’t earn a lot of money, I can not spend my free time with my friends and family happily.

First of all, I really care about the money because my budget is too tight nowadays. I am a poor student. The tuition is too high but I have to pay it. Moreover, I have to pay my rentals of room, and pay the board. I have to pay the transportation fares, the books, my clothes and a lot of daily suppliers. All these items seem to be a heavy financial burden to me. Therefore, I have to look for a job that could offer me higher salary.

Secondly, my friends and my family members are all busy all day long. Some of them are busy in working, others are busy in studying. They are usually having a little free time spending with their friends and family, including me. If I were given a shorter working hours and more free time, I could not meet them frequently either. But the money I would have lost. For these reasons, I believe that I would prefer a job with higher salary but less more free time.

Furthermore, even my friend or my family and I have managed to find out some leisure time to spend together, if I have not gotten enough the money, where the fun will be? Any meeting or party costs a fortune or the simplest picnic. If we have no money to be spend for gathering (cuoc hoi hop, tap trung), we have to just sit over there and chat. We will feel boring sooner. Knowing this, I am eager for higher paying job so that I can get the money ready for the meetings in the future.

Moreover, if I have a lot of money, I will do many things. For example, I help children in poor villages to go to the school and study. Any may be I buy a beautiful place for my parent to live in, because if I do this, my parents will feel happy. I also help to protect the environment because it is important and good for our mother earth. In addition, I will study the language in many different countries and then I will travel over the world with my family to relax. I hope my wishes will come true.

To sum up, ( for all these reasons), I would like to have a higher paying job to support myself and earn enough money to meet all my busy friends and my family someday later. Although this job cannot offer me more free time to spend with my friends and my family now, I believe that I will compensate it after I become some kind of millionaire in the future.
