My Korean student once told me people often had it easy for the Chinese because:
a) They are rich and extremely generous customers.
b) They are excellent at haggling. There is no point trying to fool them.
c) They seem to have good reputation, except for the rude tourists, which the Western propaganda must have played a huge role in exaggerating.
