Feeling 2: Substraction is awkward!

It's subtraction, a basis that we all are taught since grade school. However, sometimes I question why subtraction is like that. The rules of subtracting becomes obscure and weird. For example, I find it difficult to understand why I am 16 years old now because I don't totally understand why we need to subtract 2020 by 2004 to result my age. Everything about subtraction just stops at "I know it" without extending to "i get it".
When the feeling attacks me, an urge to prove the mathematical rules of subtraction raises in me. The urge is frenetic- wildly energetic - leaving my mind in a daze. I think I must have looked stupid and quite "on the cloud" when contemplating the problem . Since childhood, I have been easy to be triggered by any stumbling problem, and that I find it extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable to bear the idea of being unable to prove something!
I need a change!
