Hi, my babies!

From this point onward, we will be on the road towards the end of the book, which will include two more important plot points that I will be going over in detail, as well as some filler chapters to make everything flow smoothly.

I'm really excited to write this chapter, as I hope you are :D

As always, enjoy!

Exactly two weeks later, Seokjin woke up one morning to Namjoon softly dozing on his bare chest.

He yawns and stretches his neck to the side so he could get a proper glance at the clock on his bedside table, which read fifteen minutes after nine in bold red lettering.

It was one of the days where the both of them had free time to spend, Jin off from work and Namjoon off for the weekend from school.

The younger of the two started to flutter his eyes open when Jin began to trace his fingers across his temple, stirring him from his restful slumber.

Seokjin smiled and leaned closer towards him when Namjoon curled against his side in his half-awake drowsiness, "Morning, my sweet baby boy."

Namjoon grinned back at him with his wide eyes sparkling in the morning sunlight and Seokjin swore that he felt his heart throb, "Good morning, hyung."

"I don't think I'll be able to have breakfast in bed with you this morning, I need to take a shower and run an errand." Seokjin hummed sorrowfully back in response, combing back a few stray hairs that belonged to Namjoon's fringe.

"You can't stay in bed for just a little bit longer?" Namjoon whined with furrowing brows, pouting when his boyfriend shook his head subtly. "Okay, I'll wait for you until you get back."

"Well, I think you deserve some more rest, it's still pretty early," the eldest supplied and Namjoon smiled fondly before pecking him on the cheek.

"All right, I'll sleep a bit more," Namjoon agreed with a giggle, the sound of it muffled when Seokjin brought him into a kiss that had his entire body tingling.

Seokjin climbed out of bed with Namjoon clinging needily to his right hand, but Jin knelt down to press a kiss to the tan flesh of his neck, "I'll be back soon, sweetie, I promise."

Namjoon nodded hesitantly but ended up letting go of his hand with a small indent of his plump lips as he watched his boyfriend walk away. "I'll miss you a lot."

"I'll miss you too, baby," Jin trilled with a quirk of his mouth, sighing as he tread to the bathroom and began to get ready for the day.

Once he was done with bathing, he shaved and brushed his teeth, making sure to quietly get himself dressed as he didn't want to disturb the sleeping form of Namjoon still sleeping peacefully in bed.

"Love you, babe," he whispered to Namjoon, a grin gracing his lips when he caught the sound of soft snores leaving his lips.

Seokjin left the bedroom, then, making a beeline for his car keys and his wallet before dashing out of the door and locking it behind him.

He was extremely nervous today since he was going to be asking a very important question that could potentially change the rest of his life, and he really didn't want to fuck it up.

His meeting with the person he would be asking this question was scheduled at the cafe by the library that he frequented often, his heartbeat quickening when his car engine started and he turned onto the highway.

Throughout the time he had been driving, he kept on having to tell himself that everything would be fine, that this person would accept his offer, and that he could follow through with his plans because of it.

When he reached the parking lot of the cafe, he set his car to park in a spot near the entrance and forced himself to take a deep breath.

He climbed out of his vehicle once a couple of moments had passed and his confidence had risen slightly.

Once he was inside the cozy building, he ordered himself a latte and it was served to him promptly after a minute or two.

With his warm beverage in hand, he glanced around for the person of the hour, raising his head in recognition when that someone had waved over to him.

"Hi, Seokjin-ah, it's so nice to see you this morning," the voice said with a certain giddiness to it, a bright smile on the lips it had come from.

Jin gulped and smiled back at the person before taking a careful sip of his drink, "Good morning to you as well, Ms. Kim."

"You look very handsome today," she chirped, reaching over the table to squeeze his hand just to attempt at easing his nerves. "So, is there anything you wanted to talk to me about today?"

Seokjin made eye contact with the woman for a second, but quickly averted his eyes out of nervous habit. He nodded his head once and pursed his lips with a shaky exhale.

"That's fine, you can tell me anything you want, I'm all ears," she reassured him with another squeeze to his palm.

Jin bit his lip and ran a hand through his hair as he took another deep exhale before nodding in affirmation. "I know I can tell you anything, Ms. Kim, it's just that your son means so much to me. He brings a smile to my face every time I see him and his intelligence amazes me and he's so adorable that my heart always melts when I'm with him. Namjoon makes me a better person because of who he truly is, and because of that I love him with all my heart."

Seokjin's voice broke on the last part of his final sentence, breaking out into a soft sob that had him covering his mouth. Ms. Kim handed him a tissue from her purse, to which he accepted gratefully, and she cooed with her brows indented in worry.

"Jin, please, if you want to ask me something, just say it. I promise I won't judge. You're so lovely to my boy that I think it's the least that I could do to help you," Ms. Kim uttered in complete honesty, pressing her lips together and nodding for him to continue.

Jin thought for a moment as he soaked up his tears with what Ms. Kim had given him and decided to just ask his question in one rushed roll of his tongue, "Do I have your permission to marry your son?"

A sharp silence fell over the woman seated in front of him, her breath caught in her throat and her eyes staring right into his soul.

"Y-You want to marry my son?" Ms. Kim questioned with a gasp, Seokjin nodding his head quickly but confidently at her inquiry, and she was reduced to tears at that simple action.

Another bout of cries left Seokjin when she gave a quick nod of her own, her head bobbing up and down as tears poured from her eyelids.

"You'll really let me m-marry him?" Jin actually shook in his happy tears, Namjoon's mother jogging around the table to pull him up into a hug and nodded into his broad shoulder.

"Yes, Seokjin-ah, I give you full permission to marry my son. Oh my god, I'm so happy," Ms. Kim shushed his sobs with a calming hand to the back of his head and Jin relaxed into the strong embrace as his cries lessened.

He separated from the hold as he reached into his back pocket, pulling out a small suede box and opening, "I got the proposal ring already."

Ms. Kim gasped as a small squeal escaped her lips, covering her mouth with her hand as she got a closer look at it, "It's so beautiful, I'm sure Namjoonie will love this."

"Thank you so much, you have no idea what it means to have your permission to do this, Ms. Kim," Seokjin thanked her, bringing her in for one final hug that came right from his heart.

She cooed into the hug, squeezing him tighter and smiled at him when he stepped from the embrace, "Do you have any plans yet?"

"Yeah, I want to propose to him at Namjoon's graduation dinner after the ceremony and gift ritual," the boy explained, swallowing and a soft grin was firmly placed on his features.

"That's so good, do any of his friends know about this or not?" She wondered thoughtfully, her eyebrows scrunching together once with open lips.

Jin shook his head and hummed, "No, I plan on telling them the week before his graduation just so none of them give away the secret or anything."

"Even better idea," Ms. Kim smiled and brought him into another sweet embrace. "I'm so happy for you. You know, I kind of saw this coming. You and Namjoon stick together like glue on paper."

"I have never loved someone so much as the way I love your Namjoon, he is amazing in every sense of the word, I just can't comprehend it sometimes. Again, thank you for allowing me to do this, my heart is swelling with happiness and I need to stop talking before I start crying again." Jin laughed sheepishly, wiping at a single tear welling at the bottom of his eyelid with the pad of his finger.

Ms. Kim laughed along with him, framing her hands at the sides of his face before muttering directly in front of his face. "And I just want to tell you that Namjoon is lucky to have someone like you that loves and cares about him as much as you do, Seokjin."

Jin swallowed again, the lump in his throat increasing in size as another fresh wave of tears sprouted and were welcome into the shoulder of Ms. Kim jacket. "I a-also want to let y-you know that you're like another m-mom to me, and I really appreciate everything you d-do for your son."

"Oh, you're the sweetest, Jin-ah, I mean that." Ms. Kim hushed his weeping as he rubbed his back through his cardigan to soothe him.

"I can not believe I'm gonna be the love of my life's husband," Seokjin shook his head in disbelief, a bright smile gracing his lips when he met the fond eyes of Ms. Kim.

"And you know what else?" The mother asked with a hum and her arms crossed over her chest, to which Jin shook his head in a curious manner. "I know for sure that you're gonna be a damn good one."

This chapter is slightly shorter than the rest, but I wanted to stop here because the next parts will be a roller coaster of all kinds of emotions that I need to be prepared to write, as well as that some of them might be long. But I love how this is turning out and I'm glad you're here to celebrate it with me. :)

I hope you enjoyed reading this because I loved writing it for you

Have a lovely day/night because you make my day brighter
