Dù nhận hay từ chối lời mời (để hiểu r' hơn xin xem Chương 8), bạn luôn luôn nên cám ơn người đã có thành ý mời bạn. Lưu ý rằng người đi mời thường không đáp lại bằng câu ỌYou're welcomeÚ trừ khi là sau cuối câu cám ơn của người được mời.
