Summary:
After the drop off Tower Bridge, Sherlock and William both die. Roughly 150 years later, in modern day, their souls re-incarnate into bodies remarkably similar to the ones they left behind.
As they slowly start regaining past memories and realizing how deeply they love each other, they must deal with John, Louis, Mycroft, and Albert (also reborn in form, but with NO memories) believing they have gone crazy. After all... everyone knows Sherlock Holmes isn't real; he's only ever been a fictional character in Conan Doyle's stories. The same goes for Professor Moriarty.
