Story
Future Emiya Shirou as Nanook
Description
"If increasing entropy is a fundamental law of the universe, then heat death is the inevitable fate of the material world. So why bother struggling to survive? Expansion, fusion, and destruction. If we want to welcome the new, we must first accept the end."
—From a scientist just before pressing the nuclear detonation button, 2152 AE
The birth of the universe was a mistake. If civilization is a cancerous tumor silently rising from the endless stars, then war is the only common language known to all intelligent life forms.
To correct this mistake and purify this polluted universe, Nanook became the embodiment of entropy and ascended to the rank of god, denying all gods.
Destruction is not a process, but a result. On the path THEY promised, every Path and Era would end in the heat death of the universe.
Databank, Aeons
Profile
Witnessing the destruction of their homeworld of Fuyuki, which was devastated by the Holy Grail, Nanook saw the creation of the universe as a mistake and sought to destroy everything. After ascending to Aeonhood, Nanook is said to have ignited the Adlivun star system,[4] burning THEIR world into an "obsidian hell".[5]
Despite being the most recently ascended Aeon, Nanook and his GROUP of PRISONERS were arguably the greatest threat in the entire galaxy.[1]
Appearance
Nanook typically appears as a man with long, white braided hair, brown skin, and yellow eyes. A large gash and several smaller wounds can be seen on THEIR chest as golden blood oozes out. Around THEIR neck is a black necklace with a gold clasp lined with fabric. A quarter of THEIR arm is split into floating pieces revealing the glowing golden blood inside, and THEY appear to be wearing black bandages with gold inscriptions wrapped around THEIR hands like makeshift fingerless gloves. The lower half of THEIR body, usually covered by a long, tattered black cloak held up by a white scarf tied with a gold ribbon, is a flame of gold and black smoke, showing THEIR path of Destruction. THEY also have a silver ring on their left hand, worn on THEIR middle finger. "Nanook" could refer to Nanook, a character in Honkai: Star Rail, or the bear god Nanook from Inuit mythology. Nanook in Honkai: Star Rail is a man with long white hair, yellow eyes, and a wound on his chest, emitting black smoke and yellow flames, with a part of his arm severed into pieces. Nanook in Inuit mythology is a giant polar bear god, with snow-white fur, perfect camouflage, and symbolizes the strength, wisdom, and majesty of bears. Personality
1. Absolute belief in the path of Destruction
Nanook sees all life, order, and civilization as temporary.
Believes that destruction is the inevitable end of the universe, and that resistance is a waste.
Does not see “cruelty” or “evil” in the human emotional sense — to them, destruction is the law of nature.
2. Cold and distant
Rarely shows personal emotions.
Not interested in the small stories of individuals or groups.
Communication is concise, direct, and straightforward.
3. Possesses a “cosmic” vision
Nanook does not think in human terms; they see the entire universe as a vast chessboard.
Every decision serves the ultimate goal: to bring the universe to a state of stillness through destruction.
4. Absolute Confidence
No self-doubt or mission.
Nanook’s existence is proof of “right” in their eyes.
No consensus sought — just action.
5. Powerful influence on followers
Nanook’s followers (Stellaron Hunters, Destruction followers) often feel like a guiding light, even if that “light” brings an end.
Compared to other Aeons, Nanook is more majestic, apocalyptic, and emotionless than purely malevolent — like a cosmic storm: not angry, just wiping out everything.
