Topic 10
This is Part 1 of the test. Let's talk about your family.
1. Do you get on well with other members of your family? If not, why?
Yes, I get along well with my family members. We often spend time together, share meals, and support each other when needed. Of course, sometimes we have disagreements, but we always try to solve them calmly.
2. How strict are your parents in disciplining children?
My parents are quite strict, especially when I was younger. They always wanted me to do well in school and behave properly. If I did something wrong, they would talk to me seriously or take away my phone for a while. But I know they did it because they care about me.
3. Who in the family do you often talk to when you have a problem?
When I have a problem, I usually talk to my mom first. She's really understanding and always takes the time to listen to me. She doesn't always give me direct solutions, but she helps me think clearly and stay calm.
PART 2: A MUSICAL SHOW WHICH YOU ATTENDED
One memorable musical show I attended was the concert "Anh Trai Say Hi", featuring the famous Vietnamese singer and other top artists. I went to the show with two of my close friends in early 2024. We were super excited because it was the first time we attended a musical show. The concert was held in Hà Nội, at the Mỹ Đình National Stadium, which is one of the biggest venues in Vietnam. It was packed with thousands of fans, all singing and cheering. The atmosphere was electric, with bright lights, smoke effects, fireworks, and a fantastic sound system. What made the show so popular was the artist lineup, the creative stage design, and the high-energy performances. The audience sang along to every hit song. However, if I had to suggest one improvement, I'd say the entrance and security checks could be better organized. It took a long time to enter, and some people felt frustrated. Also, a few people standing in seated areas made it harder to enjoy for those behind. Even so, I would definitely recommend the "Anh Trai Say Hi" concert to anyone who enjoys Vietnamese pop music. It was exciting, emotional, and one of the best live shows I've ever attended.
Part 3:
1 What role does music play in one's life?
Music plays a very important role. It helps people relax, express emotions, and even connect with others. Some people use music to stay focused while studying, while others listen to it to feel better when they're sad or stressed.
2 How important is music in education in your country?
In my country, music is part of the school curriculum, but it's not given as much attention as subjects like math or science. I think music should be taken more seriously because it helps develop creativity and emotional intelligence in students.
3 What should be done to promote traditional music?
To promote traditional music, schools could include more lessons about it, and media platforms should give it more exposure. Organizing festivals, concerts, and using social media to introduce traditional songs to young people would also help a lot.
