PART 1
1 Do you like buying things online?
Yes, I really enjoy online shopping because it's convenient. I can buy anything I need without going out. It saves me a lot of time, especially when I'm busy with school.
2 What risks may you face when buying things online?
Sometimes, the product I receive is not the same as in the picture. There's also a risk of scams or poor customer service. And if the size or quality is wrong, it's hard to return it.
3 Would you like to open an online shop?
Yes, I'd love to try one day. It seems like a good way to earn money, especially for students. I might sell handmade items or clothes. Running an online shop also teaches useful business skills.
PART 2: A PROJECT IN WHICH YOU TOOK PART TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
One project I took part in was a "Green Sunday" cleanup campaign in my neighborhood. It was held last year by a local youth group and I joined with my classmates.
We went to a small park near our school that was full of litter. We picked up trash, separated recyclables, and planted a few trees. Some people painted the walls with messages about protecting the Earth.
This project helped make the place cleaner and more beautiful. It also raised awareness about environmental protection. After that, I started using fewer plastic bags and encouraged my family to do the same.
PART 3
1 What are popular community/ volunteer activities in your country?
In my country, some of the most popular volunteer activities include organizing charity events, donating blood, teaching underprivileged children, and joining environmental campaigns such as tree planting or collecting trash in public spaces. During natural disasters like floods or storms, many young people also volunteer to provide aid and support to affected areas.
2 How important are community/ volunteer activities for young people?
These activities are extremely important for young people. They not only help them develop soft skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, but also raise their awareness of social issues. Volunteering gives them a sense of purpose, builds empathy, and encourages them to become more responsible citizens.
3 How willing are you to take a gap year to work for environment protection projects?
Personally, I would be quite willing to take a gap year for environmental protection, especially if the project is meaningful and well-organized. It would be a great opportunity to learn practical skills, make a real impact, and take a break from academic pressure. However, I would also consider factors like financial stability and long-term goals before making that decision.
