PART 1
1 How do you like studying at this university?
I enjoy studying at this university because it has a good learning environment, supportive teachers, and many chances to join clubs and improve soft skills.
2 How are classes in the university different from those in high school?
University classes are more flexible and focused on self-study. Teachers don't guide every step, so students must be more independent.
3 What should be done to motivate students in your class to study well?
I think giving students real-life projects, organizing competitions, and offering rewards for good performance can help keep them motivated.
PART 2: AN ENDANGERED ANIMAL WHICH YOU WANT TO HELP PROTECT
One endangered animal I really want to help protect is the pangolin. It is a small, shy mammal covered in scales, and it lives in forests in Asia and Africa. In Vietnam, pangolins are found in some national parks, but their numbers are dropping fast.
This animal is in danger because of illegal hunting and trafficking. People kill them for meat and use their scales in traditional medicine, although there's no scientific proof they work. As a result, pangolins are now critically endangered.
Many organizations, like WWF and local rescue centers, are working to protect them. They rescue injured pangolins, raise awareness, and try to stop wildlife trade.
Personally, I can help by not buying products made from wild animals, sharing knowledge on social media, and maybe even volunteering at a rescue center in the future. Pangolins are harmless and important to the ecosystem, so they really need our help.
PART 3
1 Why should people protect endangered animals?
People should protect endangered animals because each species plays a vital role in maintaining the balance of nature. When one species disappears, it can affect the entire ecosystem, including humans. Endangered animals are also part of the world's natural heritage, and protecting them helps preserve biodiversity fpr future generations. Moreover, many animals contribute to scientific research, medicine, and agriculture making their survival beneficial to humanity.
2 Are zoos the best place to rescued animals?
It depends. Zoos can be helpful in rescuing and protecting animals, but they are not always the best option. For example, some modern zoos provide safe environments, medical care, and breeding programs for endangered animals, which can support conservation efforts. However, keeping animals in captivity can cause stress and limit their natural behaviours. In many cases, wildlife sanctuaries or reserves and better alternatives because they allow animals to live in more natural and spacious habitats.
3 From what sources can we get funds for animal protection projects?
Funds for animal protection projects can come from several sources. Governments often provide grants or support conservation through national policies. Non-government organizations and environmental charities also raise money through donations and fundraising events. In addition, international organizations and businesses may offer financial support as part of their environmental or corporate social responsibility programs, which are also effective sources of funding.
