Topic 4

PART 1
1. What are the good points about the area where you are living now?
The area where I live has many advantages. It is peaceful, and the people here are very friendly, creating a strong sense of community. Moreover, the area is currently developing into an urban district, so there are many local markets, shopping centers, and public facilities, making life more convenient.

2. Is there anything you dislike about it?
One thing I dislike is that the area is currently under road construction, which creates a lot of dust and makes the air quality worse. Additionally, some people still lack awareness about proper waste disposal, leading to littering in public places.

3. Can you suggest how it could be improved?
To improve the area, the construction projects should be completed as quickly as possible to reduce dust pollution. At the same time, local authorities should launch awareness campaigns and enforce stricter regulations on waste disposal to keep the environment clean.

PART 2: A HISTORICAL SITE WHICH YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT
One historical site I want to know more about is the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. It's a massive palace complex that used to be the home of Chinese emperors for nearly 500 years. I've seen many photos and documentaries about it, and it looks both mysterious and majestic.
What interests me the most is its architecture and the symbolism behind each structure. Every part of the palace was built according to strict rules based on Chinese philosophy and culture. I also want to know more about how life was for the emperors, their families, and the servants inside the palace.
I haven't been there yet, but if I get the chance to travel to China, it will definitely be on my list. I think visiting the Forbidden City would give me a deeper understanding of Chinese history and imperial traditions.

PART 3:
1    How likely will you visit historical places when you travel abroad?
I'm very likely to visit historical places when I travel abroad because they help me understand the culture and background of the country.
It's always fascinating to see old architecture, museums, or monuments in person.
It makes the experience more meaningful than just reading about it online.

2    How do you think visiting historical sites can help education of history at school?
Visiting historical sites brings history to life. Instead of just reading about events in textbooks, students can see the actual places, objects, and monuments. It makes the learning experience more vivid and memorable.

3    What should we do to increase young people's interest in history?
We should make history more engaging by using videos, interactive museums, and storytelling. Schools can also organize trips to historical sites and invite guest speakers who make history exciting and relevant to modern life.
