Topic 5
PART 1:
1 What do you do to keep fit?
I try to exercise regularly, at least three times a week. I usually go jogging in the park or do home workouts. I also try to eat healthy, drink a lot of water, and get enough sleep.
2 Who often gives you advice on fitness practice
I often get advice on fitness from professional trainers on the internet. There are many YouTubers and fitness influencers who share workout routines, diet plans, and tips for staying healthy. Some of them are certified coaches, so I find their advice reliable and easy to follow. I also sometimes read articles from fitness websites or watch short videos on TikTok or Instagram.
3 Would you recommend a good fitness centre in your neighbourhood?
Yes, there's a place called FitZone near my house. It has modern equipment, helpful trainers, and flexible membership plans. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay fit.
PART 2: A BUSINESS YOU WOULD LIKE TO START
If I could start a business, I would open a bakery café because my mom and I love baking. Baking is not just a hobby for me—it also helps me relax because I enjoy the careful and serious process of following precise recipes. This business would be in the food and beverage industry, which always has a high demand. I would like to open my café in a busy area, such as near universities or entertainment centers because this type of food would attract young people more than older customers. To run the business successfully, I would invite my mom and close friends to work with me, as they share my passion for baking and customer service. Together, we could create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers. To grow my business, I would focus on high-quality products, marketing through social media, and providing excellent customer service. In the future, I hope to expand by opening more branches and introducing new products.
PART 3
1 In your opinion, what age is the best for a person to start his/her own business?
I believe the ideal age to start a business is between 27 and 35.
By this time, most people have finished their education, gained some practical work experience, and developed a clearer sense of what they want in life. They are also more financially stable and emotionally mature, which helps them handle the pressure and risks that come with entrepreneurship.
Of course, some people succeed earlier, but in general, having a solid foundation increases the chance of long-term success.
2. Is it easy for young people to start a business in your country?
In my country, it's still quite challenging for young people to start a business, although the environment is gradually improving. The biggest obstacles include a lack of capital, limited access to investors, and complicated administrative procedures.
That said, the government has been promoting entrepreneurship through start-up funds, training programs, and tax incentives. Young people also have more access to information and digital tools nowadays, which makes it slightly easier compared to the past.
3. Who should young people talk to when they need advice for business operations?
Young people should reach out to those who have real-world business experience, such as mentors, former entrepreneurs, or business coaches.
They can provide practical advice that goes beyond theory, including how to manage cash flow, deal with customers, or handle legal issues.
Joining start-up communities or networking events is also a great way to connect with others who've faced similar challenges.
In addition, there are many free online resources, and even universities now offer entrepreneurship centers that provide support and guidance.
