Peka and Panther awoke to an annoying screeching nosie - it was a flutterway, an annoying, but helpful bird that warned when a meat-eater was around - and sure enough there was.

A T-rex was about five miles off from where Peka and Panther lay - they watched the female beast in the clearing, they were in the safety of the trees and the wind was blowing her smell to them - so she didn't even know she was being watched.

The T-rexes skin was a weird brown color and her huge teeth could be seen a dark yellow even from Peka and Panthers far-away spot.

Peka had talked Panther into coming to the clearing because he thought Neka would come looking for them - she did not, which is why they fell asleep away from the tribe.

Peka was also worried - what if Neka hadn't been joking like Panther thought - what if she really was done?

Peka didn't like they thought.

Sighing Peka tuned his head torwards the sky in a simple question.
