Hello everyone, my name is Nguyen Trung Hieu, I was a student of Industrial University of HCM City, majoring in Business Management . Today, I am very happy to be here, and presentations on the topic "Student Starting Business".

So, Why am I talking about this topic? As a student majoring in economics, I believe that I and you have had a dream, that is the dream of making the boss. What's more amazing is that owning a business, a company, a store of your own. Because of this dream, inspired me to be here with you to talk about starting a business. Maybe I do not have enough professional knowledge, maybe I do not have much practical experience, maybe I just have enthusiasm. But today I will share all the knowledge and my vision about problems starting a business. And more importantly, I want burning "business flames" in you. I hope I can help you get the courage to start a business.

My presentation consists of 3 main point. First, I will help you overcome the barriers blocking you starting business. Second, I will talk about some things need to be prepared to starting business. And finally, I will share with you about the idea in starting business , including my own ideas.

The presentation should last about ten minutes. During my presentation, if you have any questions, you can ask me your questions or you can make personal comments to our discussion.

Let's start with my presentation.

Entrepreneur is the dream of many people. Many people want to starting business, they want to be the boss, they want to make more money, they want to be rich, they want a lot of things. But they can not implement their dreams, they did not efforts to achieve what they want, they have a lot of barriers.

Barriers from families, more parents want their children focus to study, without knowing that university only teach their children the knowledge to become an employee. They always worry, they do not want their children to face the risks in the economy and society. Many parents do not allow their children business when a student. Many parents do not allow their children business when he was a student. Or they just give their children one chance, if that fails then to find a stable job. Meanwhile 99.99% of the first business plan had failed. And the best time for you to start business, that is the time students. When you are having young, health and enthusiasm. You are ready to face all difficulties, and you can afford to stand up after the failure. Let's starting a business when you're young!

The second barrier is the barrier from yourself, you have a business idea that you think is great. You spend a lot of time to think about it but you do not dare do it, you fear not enough money, fear not enough relationships, fear of losses, you just want to stay in a safe area. Hear me, if you just worry everything and always looking for a sense of security, then you will never become a successful entrepreneur. If you want to develop you have to face difficulties, set the goal of learning more experienced, training more skills and Street-Smarts, you must learn valuable lessons from the failure. You start trading is not for the money but to learn how to make money.

Remember, you want to achieve something you never had, you have to do things never done.

Now we come to the next point . When you've crossed the barriers, which means you are ready to start walking on the path of starting a business, what need you to prepare starting business? You need prepare : money , person and some skill.

I'd like to expand the money in starting business. Money is the lifeblood of a business, to implement your business plan you need have money. You needn't have a lot of money, but the important thing is that you can mobilize much money. You can using savings account, bank loan, find person contributing capital... When beginners start a business, you shouldn't invest all your money on that, because you don't have much experience, so you need to save expenses and reduce risks. Remember that "Think big, Start small". Starting business is not only one a business plan, you have to be prepared psychologically to face the failure and after that started again, to failure, to start, until you are successful.

I'd like to go back to a point I mentioned earlier, that is person. "You want to go fast - go alone, you want to go far - go with friends". The first time you starting a business, you need to find a partner with you. I call it a co-founder. A company should have a maximum of two founders. Third person will create a lot of contradictions. Around the world, successful businesses usually only one or two a founder as: Sergey Brin and Larry Page of Google, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak of Apple, Bill Gates and Paul Allen of Microsoft. Starting business is always difficult, if you choose the wrong co-founder, you will kill your company. Choose person right for you, choose who can stick with the company long term, choose person doesn't work for the money, but because the dream starting business.

Finally, you need to prepare a few skills to starting a business as communication skills, sales skill, teamwork skill. Let's take a sales job that you have to overcome shyness when speaking and said happily accept the rejection of others. Then, you will learn to value for money, and never give up spirit. Believe me, these lessons are invaluable.

When starting a business, you have to do everything, you are the owner, you are also the sellers, carriers, accountants, ... there are many things don't know, there are so many things to learn, remember that "Think Big, Start small ".

Moving on now to next point, I want to tell you about the business idea. The moment you have a potential idea, and you want to make it turn into a fortune. You need to check the viability of this idea was. Let me give you another example, you have an idea of catering services. You shouldn't invest in a hurry furniture fixtures. you take a market survey, let us examine the opinion of many customers in the future. From an idea to reality absolutely not simple. Wrong decision will cause you to waste a lot of money. Remember that "Think Big, Start small ".

When I started researching the topic starting business, I'd been wondering that What is my idea of starting a business? As a third-year student, I used to do a lot of part-time jobs such as restaurants serve, protect, PB ... I understand the need to work part-time of the poor student

I and a friend are planning to plan and execute an idea of the services part-time students. Originally planned to set up a group, the members are students wishing to find a part-time job and then we will go to the places that need the workforce part-time to provide services for them . Perhaps this is an imperfect idea, it can face difficulties to implement and the possibility of failure is very, very high. But, that are not important, because it was burning "business flames" in me, I promise to myself and everyone, I will put this idea into practice before I graduate university.

The idea is very, very cheap, the key is implementation. In the past, Nokia is a wood pulp company, Daewoo is a textile factory, and Amazon is an online bookstore. Any idea is is less important than how you execute it. You should starting a business with old ideas and you can do better, not to challenge with a new idea never existed in the world, the possibility of failure is very, very high.

To summarise, I said to you about the three points that I would like to share. The first, you need to overcome barriers with two barriers: barriers from family and barriers from yourself. The second, you need to prepare some thing to starting a business, which is the money, the co-founder, and some skills. The third, I was talking about ideas, ideas are important, but execution idea is more important.

I hope that, through this my presentation, you will have a clear view about starting business. It very difficult, but if you dare to do, you get a lot of things. Starting business like gambling with cards, if you pull out your card, the card can also be little or big, but compared with people do nothing, you have a card, you are winner.
