It's been a few years since Frisk died and freed the monsters. The monsters were taught how it felt to live with humans and all seemed well. But Sans didn't really care, because now that Frisk was dead, he didn't want to care about things anymore. He was the closest to Frisk, and her death hit him hard. Anytime anyone even mentioned Frisk he would either become depressed, or become angry and almost kill that person/monster. He never came out of his room, and only teleported to Grillbys from it. Every time he did however he came back drunk and crying. He would call out to Frisk sometimes and other times, almost destroy the house he and his brother were in.
