Exhausted by setbacks and chasing funding that always seems just out of reach, American paleontologist Kerstin Harlow travels to Argentina, clinging to the hope that a single tooth fossil could lead to a new discovery. She finds herself at odds with a disgruntled new landowner, a stubborn gaucho with no patience for the strangers who wish to disturb the land that he has recently inherited. Kerstin must tread lightly to avoid conflict that could jeopardize her project. The team soon finds out that the land they are working on is just as volatile as its owner. However, in their own time, both reveal something unexpected. As the days grow shorter, the seasons shift and the tensions ease. Kerstin begins to uncover more than she ever imagined.…
