Beatrice, or Bea for short (she despises her real name) finds herself in an unusual situation. She has been transported to Middle-earth. Her confusion gets quickly replaced with determination as she decides to save Fili, Kili, and Thorin from their awful end. But first, she has to get past trolls, wargs, goblins, a giant bear, unhappy wooden elves, a dragon and the worst of them all. The leader of the company, Thorin Oakenshield, who is not going to change his mind about Beatrice being a useless woman. On top of this, she has some scars, both mental and physical, from her previous relationship that was to give it a word, hell. Especially when a certain blonde dwarven prince catches her attention.
