In the Mist of the Storm
I was once given advice, "Don't be afraid of the Storm. It may be a powerful force of nature, but it is gentle and kind. Only those with the darkest hearts fear the light that it brings. Some even hate it." That is right before my father died. Years later I get bullied in school for being afraid of the very force of nature that killed him, and for being so sad that he was gone. Then my mother disappeared in another storm. I now realize that my father was wrong. Now I hide in the shadows from the looks and the laughs that I would get from my 'fellow' classmates.
