By day he is a meek disabled boy, but by night he is Pestilential, the hero with a hospital mask. Joe accidentally discovers that Rey Abulafia, his academic rival, is also the descendant of a God. Rey warns him that the deeper he goes into becoming a superhero, the harder it will be to claw his way out.
