People have asked how I've done things on covers so I'm going to post some very basic animations of a few of my graphics showing how they're put together. 

These are very basic animation sets of only a few frames. There's a lot more to making these covers than I've show. Unless I want to spend hours making a time lapse (which I don't) I could never show everything that goes into making a complex manip cover. It's a lot of time and effort. From choosing images and putting them together, to selecting a font and adding PSDs.

So this is the cover I made for a contest. We were given a choice of several background images and we had to pick one and make the cover:
