Kakashi face palmed. "No Naruto... That's not how it works..." He sighed. Naruto slumped on the floor and crossed his arms. "Then I don't get any of this! It's too complicated even for a high class ninja." He grumbled. Sakura gritted her teeth as inc marks appeared on her forehead. "Well maybe if you actually payed attention, YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND!" She burst out, punching Naruto right smack in the middle of his face. Her punch was so powerful, he flew backwards at great speed that even a teleportation jutsu wouldn't be able to keep up. If it hadn't been for the giant bolder behind him, Naruto could have traveled half way through the shinobi world. To Kakashi, this was no surprise. Naruto was always being a goofball during important missions and Sakura would almost always end up sending him flying. Naruto pulled himself out the heap of jagged rocks. He stroked his nose lightly, wincing at the slight pain. "What was that for Sakura?" He pouted. Sakura crossed her arms and sat down on the grass next to Kakashi. "That was for not paying any attention!" She huffed.

Naruto secretly thought that was a stupid excuse for her to give him flying lessons right before an attack. He slumped back down on the other side of Kakashi, still rubbing his nose. Kakashi cleared his throat, "As I was saying before I was interrupted..." He took a side glance towards Naruto. "We have been ordered to capture an old man which is thought to be working with the Akatsuki. He's an elite old guy so we have to take extreme caution or expect to be defeated. So we're going along with the plan. I will summon Pakkun and have him find the old man. After that Sakura will attack from the front, distracting him for a while. Naruto you attack from behind, and try to capture him. Then I will use my sharingan and capture him in a genjutsu. Clear?" He asked his team. Sakura nodded and glared at Naruto, "Do you understand the simpler version now?" She sighed. Naruto grinned and nodded. "THIS WILL BE AS EASY AS EATING 2 BOWLS OF RAMEN!" He laughed.

Kakashi sweat dropped. Of course eating Ramen would be easy for someone who eats 20 in 1 minute. He did some hand signs and pressed his hand against the ground. "Summoning Jutsu!" A poof of smoke formed and there stood Pakkun. "Hey guys! I see your ready now?" He greeted them. Sakura nodded. "Shall we start now Kakashi sensei?" She asked. Kakashi nodded at both Sakura and Pakkun. Pakkun gave him a salute before his nose made contact with the solid ground. He sniffed around for a bit before running off into the distance. Everyone followed closely behind, being careful not to step on any twigs on the way.

They travelled for a few minutes before Pakkun suddenly stopped in his tracks. "Guys he's up ahead. But I should warn you, there's someone els lurking nearby." And with that he dissapeared. Kakashi stood still for a second. "His chakra is faint but it can be felt. Pakkun is right so stay alert you two. Also make sure you've got eachother's backs!" He informed them, while activating his sharingan. His eyes glowed a blood red in the sunlight. Naruto gave everyone a thumbs up, "you can count on me!" He grinned.

All three ran towards the chakra of the old man. Kakashi ran left while Sakura ran to the right and Naruto hid in a nearby tree, waiting for his time to shine. He peeked down onto the road as an old man with a walking stick hobbled down. Sakura jumped out from the tree she was in and went in for a punch. "KYAAAAAAAAA!" The old man barely dodged but somehow got out alive. The earth shook and shattered as Sakura's fist made contact with it. The old man's eyes swivelled to stare into Sakura's. She quickly jumped back, keeping her distance. "Where are you Naruto?" She thought.

The old man stood a few meters before Sakura, looking her straight in the eye. "What do you want, annoying ninja?" His voice sounded deep and ancient, like he hadn't spoken in years. Sakura kept her mouth shut as she gazed at the million Naruto's charging from behind. It looked as if the plan was going to work. "Nothing really... I just have some business with you..." She answered finally, hoping he would pay attention to her. She glanced behind the old man again, seeing a Shadow clone was 1 second away from capturing the old man.

The old guy grinned slightly at Sakura before turning and punching the Naruto clone in the face. He dodged, kicked, punched and elbowed every clone that came his way. All disappeared with only smoke left behind. "Is that all you guys can do?" He muttered. Sakura's first tightened. While Naruto at the same time gritted his teeth. This guy was underestimating their power. "I'll show you more!" Naruto growled. "Shadow clone jutsu!" Another clone appeared and stood next to Naruto. They both began gathering chakra together into a spiralling energy ball "Rasengan!" He called out, running towards the old man. The ball of chakra spun faster and faster as he got closer. But then the old man grabbed his arm and flung him to the left. Naruto crash into the tree behind. He pulled his hand out of the tree, causing it to lean over in a weird angle. Frowning, the old man walked towards Naruto and pulled him near to his face. "Listen here kid! It's me Jiraiya so could you all leave me alone. I'm trying to track down Akatsuki members and all your doing is interrupting!" He whispered into his ear.

Naruto's eyes widened. How could he not realise? The old man was old like Jiraiya. He had the same shade of white hair and that pervy old look plastered on his face. "I'm sorry pervy sage! I'll go alert everyone els." Pervy sage took a kunai from behind and slowly loosened his grip. "Don't bother. That Akatsuki guy spying on us will find out my identity. So take out your kunai and pretend to fight me!" He quickly whispered before stabbing Naruto. Poof! It was a shadow clone.

The real Naruto jumped out from a tree with another Rasengan at hand. "This time I will defeat you!" Naruto growled as he aimed straight at his face. Jiraiya ducked down as Naruto landed head first into a tree once again. The tree came stumbling down, missing Sakura by just 1cm. She stood frozen in shock with the unexpected event, her eyes fixed on the fallen tree. Then she looked up to see someone standing before her.

"Awww! You broke Tobi's look out tree! Tobi is a good boy... He doesn't deserve a broken tree." The ninja standing before her said. He was exactly who team 7 were looking for. The disguised Jiraiya held his kunai tightly. Naruto created another shadow clone and they stuck by eachother closely. Sakura gave Tobi one of her death glares from a distance. "I guess Tobi has to punish you naughty ninja for breaking his tree..." Tobi sighed, listing a finger and pointing it at Naruto. Jiraiya acted quickly and did some fast hand signs before holding his hand out towards Tobi. After a few minutes, the atmosphere and Tobi began disappearing in a spiral.

All three ninja stood still, not knowing what just happened. "What just happened..." Naruto asked, dumbfounded. Jiraiya pooled back to his normal self and shrugged. "IT WAS YOUR JUTSU!" Naruto burst out suddenly. "Actually it wasn't..." Came Kakashi's voice from behind. All three ninja turned around as Kakashi jumped down the tree and landed lightly on his feet. "I used my sharingan to send him to another dimension, you know? The one where i sent Deidera's arm to?" He laughed, remembering the shocked look on Deidera's face. Sakura sweat dropped. "So Jiraiya did nothing then?" Jiraiya glared at Sakura. "I DISTRACTED TOBI FOR YOUR INFORMATION!" He huffed. "Right...." She sighed. She looked back to Kakashi. He seemed a bit tense, like there was something wrong. "Kakashi? What's wrong?" She asked. He snapped out of a daydream and looked at her. "Well there's a slight problem though..." He nervously chuckled.

"Even though I tried sending him to my sharingan dimension, as I call it. Tobi was sending himself to another dimension at the same time. So he could be anywhere right now and for all we know, he could reappear at any time." He warned them. Jiraiya frowned, "I guess we have to stay alert!" Naruto folded his arms across his chest and grinned smugly "No need to worry! You future hokage is right here!" Sakura punched him in his tummy before storming off. Naruto lay on the flora, clutching the only place where he could store his ramen. Jiraiya went to help his student up and at that exact moment they heard a faint sound which seemed to get louder by the second.

Naruto jumped on his feet ready to fight but Sakura pulled him by the neck of his clothes and hid themselves up a tree. Jiraiya and Kakashi dissapeared in thin air, only to reappear shortly on the tree next to Sakura. They watched the place they just left and saw how the atmosphere slowly began to swirl and people began falling out. Everyone took out their ninja weapons and held them close, ready for a sneak attack. Naruto watched in wonder as 8 people huddled together where they previously stood. Tobi's face reappeared and said something to the team of 8 before disappearing in laughter. The strange people looked so confused and Naruto felt pity for them. They weren't around here and he had a feeling they needed some help...

Ok so I also wanted to say that it's nearly the end of the school year which means I have many tests to revise for before next week. I probably won't update for a while but after all these assessments and tests are done and over with, I promise to update sooner if I can *-*
