We drive for a few hours with nothing but the desert sky to keep us company until we meet the welcoming Zone 6 sign. When it says Zone 6 I think welcome home. I grew up in the area that is now known as Zone 6. I slam on the gas, this is my home there are no rules here. I roll down the windows and drive to my old base.
The base is in the woods so we park just outside the trees and walk the rest of the way. When we get there is hear muffled talking. I get out my gun, Toxic Pop does the same. I kick in the door and cock my gun. There's two guys who stopped talking and pulled out guns too.
"What the hell are you doing here!?" I ask.
"I could ask you the same thing." Said one of the guys. He has bright red hair and a yellow mask.
"This is MY base!" I yell.
"What are you talking about?!" He yells back.
"I lived here. There for it's my base." I say.
"Well we live here now!" He says.
"Who are you?" I ask.
"Oh, so now we're getting to know each other!?" He says.
The other one steps out. He's blonde and has sunglasses on. "Seriously guys, why can't we just stay here together?" He says. "I mean think about it it was yours and we didn't know so we're here for now. Maybe we could even work together. I mean, we're Killjoys we all have two main goals, take out Korse and don't die. What do ya say?" He lowers his gun.
Toxic lowers hers. "Toxic!" I yell.
"What?" She says. "Come on Ghost he makes a good point."
"Fine." I lower mine too.
We all turn and look at the red head. He sighs and puts his gun in its holster.
"Ok, now we should know each other's names." Says the blonde one. "I'm the Kobra Kid." He looks to Toxic.
"Toxic Pop." She smiles.
Then comes the Weasley.
"Party Poison." He says.
My turn. "Ghost Candy." Both boys gasp.
"Thee Ghost Candy?!" Says Kobra Kid.
"Yeah, and I'm warning you both. I'm not messing around. Oh, and what you said about killing Korse, impossible." I say.
"How do you know." Asks Party Poison.
"Let's just say I tried once and it cost me my partner..." I say voice breaking.
"Oh. I'm sorry." Says Party. "I didn't know."
"It's okay." I say.
Then they show us where they slept, we made beds, and went to sleep.
