Chapter 2 - The Ager

Isacc turned down his street and I walked down mine.

"See you tonight." He yelled from a distance.

I am still depressed from Chico going 'missing' that really nothing could cheer me up. My best friend is gone, and it's all my fault. I should have never told him about the old house and 'The Ager'. When I finally got to my house, I went straight upstairs and to my room to change out of my school clothes. I put on an old faded black t-shirt and the grungiest pair of sweats I could find. I then ran downstairs to go back outside. I grabbed my bike out of the garage, hopped on it, and rode out of my front yard.

On my way to Shukni's house, I couldn't help but stop at the Ager's house. From a distance at least. The house was the same since me and... Chico last been here. It had old, chipped white paint on the house all over, the windows were all cracked and busted, the door.... it was brown and white, the grass in the yard was dying. Just looking at it all gave me goosebumps.

But suddenly, I saw a curtain cracked open on the top window. I squinted a little and all I saw was an eye. It was a red eye looking straight at me. I wanted to see who's eye it belonged to and if it was the Ager girls. I needed my revenge!

I grabbed a pebble from off the street and thrown it at the window. I waited a couple of minutes to see what would happen. Nothing. But, the eye was still looking at me. I then grabbed another pebble and thrown it at the window. Still nothing. I then grabbed the third pebble. But, before I could throw it, the eye was gone, and the curtains slammed shut.

My heart was beating out of my chest. All I could hear was. Thump, Thump, Thump. I didn't know what to do. My hands were shaking, my face was sweating, I felt like I was going to have a panic attack. I had to do something. Anything! But, before I could do something, there was something back at the upstairs window. It was an old piece of paper, with red writing on it. The paper read, 'I was expecting you, Michael. Come on in and play with us!'

Suddenly, the front door flew open.

So many thoughts went through my head. How did she or whoever is in there know my name? How did she know I was going to pass by? What did she mean by, 'I was expecting you '? Whatever it meant, I wasn't going to find out, not yet at least. So, I go back on my bike and rode off as fast as I could.

What do you think is going to happen? What do you think about the characters? Was it well said? I want to know what's going on in your head after reading the first chapter. Are there any mistakes? (Spelling, grammar, punctuation?)
