Chapter 6

Star

I woke up with a stretch as I sat up and felt my shoulder, it was all healed, nothing was there but a scratch. I sighed and looked over at my stand to see a small box. I picked it up, looking at it before opening it. Inside was a bracelet with little hearts in but with diamonds at the end. “Really” I said knowing it was from Klaus as I sighed and shook my head.

I got up and texted Alicia saying that we should meet up. “Hey” I said to Alicia as I answered the door and had her come in. We sat on the couch “oohh cute bracelet” she pointed to my bracelet “where'd you get it” she asked and I looked at it. “Um Klaus got for me, for my birthday” I said. “When was your birthday” Alicia asked “yesterday” I said taking a drink.

“What, why didn't you tell me” Alicia asked hitting my arm “because I didn't want you to know, I didn't even know that Klaus knew” I said. Klaus must have compelled her to forget last night, good. “Come on we should do something for it the, like a party or something” “no party” I said to her. “What, why not” Alicia asked confused “because I always have bad luck when it comes to parties” I said.

“You could invite Klaus” Alicia said “if you're trying to convince me to have a party then that's not the way to go” I said. “Oh come on, please, take it as like a graduation party if you want” Alicia said. I sighed “where would we have it anyways” I asked “at that one huge, white building that can be rented out” Alicia said. That's also where Klaus had his ball.

“Please, please, please” Alicia begged “alright, alright” I said “yes” Alicia cheered happy. “But Klaus is not invited” I said pointing a finger at her “what, why” she asked upset “because I want to have a good time at my party” I said. “Fine, let me see your phone” Alicia said. “Why” I asked confused “so I know who to invite, dah” I sighed and handed her my phone.

“I'm going to go get some more lemonade, want some” I said standing up and asking Alicia as she went threw my phone. Silent. “I'll take that as a no” I said and headed to my kitchen. I looked paused as I looked around my kitchen, something felt off. I ignored it and got something to drink when all of a sudden someone grabbed me from behind and I turned to see Klaus.

“Klaus” I whispered “what in the hell are you doing here” “we need to talk” Klaus said worried a bit. “No Klaus okay, no, when will you get the pitcher of leaving me alone” I said to him “listen to me, there's a hunter here -” Klaus started “no Klaus. I don't want to here it, now go” I said “Star” “go” I said to him and he looked at me mad then disappeared.

I sighed and headed back into the living room “here ya go” Alicia said handing me my phone. “Who all did you invite” I asked “you'll just have to wait and see” she said with a smile as I gave her a look. “Don't worry I didn't invite Klaus” Alicia said still a little upset about it. I smiled and nodded my head okay. The party was earnestly tomorrow so Madison and Alicia left to go get it ready.

I personalty wanted to just ware some jeans, black shirt, and my jacket but Alicia said she would kick me out of the party if I did. I looked threw my closet finding a few things and set out all my dresses. I finally picked one out, it was a plain, short, black dress with one strap. I set it on my chair and brought out some flats. Alicia texted me told me when I should come.

I really didn't want a party but I didn't really have a choice ether at this point. I got ready for bed and watched some TV. I wonder what Klaus was talking about before about a hunter. Whatever, doesn't concern me anymore.

I woke up the next morning and got ready. My hair was back to being straight now so I just wore it down. I got in my car and drove to the house. It was a huge white house with tones of people there, she probable invited the whole school, people I didn't even know. I got out of the car and looked at it as Alicia ran up to me. “What is this” she asked looking at my outfit” “a dress, why” I asked confused “I just hoped you would ware something more, styling” Alicia said.

“Are you seriously wearing flats, no” Alicia said walking over to her car and polling out a pair of black heals. “Alicia what are you doing” I asked “out these on” I sighed and out them on. “There you look perfect now” “I feel like a stripper” I said to Alicia “oh honey you got the body for a stripper, come on”. I looked at Alicia shocked with a smile as she dragged me over to the party.

“Madison is outside making sure only certain people can get in” Alicia said as we walked around. “Come on, have some fun, this is your party” she said as people where dancing. “I'll be right back” I said and went to grab something to drink, seeing Klaus compelling Madison then trying to get into the house. I walked over to where he could see me and smiled.

“Sorry Klaus, it's under Alicia's name” I said with a smirk and took a sip of my drink, walking away proud of myself and of Alicia. Klaus was mad a bit but I didn't care “hey” I said to Alicia as she turned to look at me “hey, look over there” she said pointing to some people. I looked and stopped in my tracts. “Did you invite them” I asked Alicia “yah, I invited almost everyone in your contacts” Alicia said.

I quickly walked over to the the three guys and 2 girls. “What are you guys doing here” I asked confused. “Star” Elena said hugging me. There stood in front of me was Elena, Bonnie, Jeremy, Stefan, and Damon.
