Chapter 28

Alicia

Rebekah was driving her car while I was looking at a list of names that Rebekah wrote down. The list of names were of people who lived in Mystic Falls "well, the only ones I know are Stefan and Damon Salvatore, but the Gilbert name stands out" I said. "Yeah, she's Katherine's doppelgänger" Rebekah said. "Great, more doppelgangers" I said with a sigh. After a while we met the sign that read "Welcome to Mystic Falls". Rebekah stopped at the sign and got out.

I got out of the car and walked until I was right on the edge of the boarder. I looked forward, looking as the road was empty but the sun was shining right through the trees. I took a deep breath and took a step forward, crossing over the border. Part of me was waiting for Klaus to appear and kill me, just like my dream but nothing happened. I turned and looked at Rebekah "looks like your dream was wrong" she said with a smile. "For now" I said and walked back to the car, getting in and we continue to drive into Mystic Falls.

We saw many houses and a few stores here and there. It looked like it did when I lived here. The woods still surrounded the town, so I told Rebekah to stop by the woods. "I'm going to grab something to eat, take a look around. Can you get a place to stay at" I asked her "sure, I'll call you when I find a place, be careful" "always am" I said and closed the door, watching Rebekah drive away before disappearing in the woods. I walked around a little, listening to the sound of a nearby river and animals walking around.

I will admit, I missed this place, but I do love New Orleans. I heard a tree branch snap behind me and quickly turned around. No one was there. I continued to walk, stopping when I heard another branch brake. I sighed "I know you're out there, come one out" I said and turned around to see Elijah standing in the open. I crossed my arms "did Rebekah tell you to follow me out here" I asked, mad. "No, she doesn't know I'm here, nor does Klaus" Elijah said with a straight face.

I sighed "Elijah, leave, I don't need a babysitter". "I know, I'll keep my distance" Elijah said "no, go, go back to New Orleans, go back to Klaus. Leave" I said getting angrier with every word. Elijah stared at me for a few seconds before disappearing. "Now, if everyone would please just leave me alone" I said to myself, my voice raising a little. I sighed, annoyed before walking deeper into the woods.

After a few minutes I had killed a few animals and was stuffed. I leaned on a tree and stared forward. My mind flashed back to when I first met Damon and Stefan in this town, that's when I started to have more of a bad side to me, after all I did help kill Kol, again. After a few minutes of silence, I just enjoyed the fact that for a few minutes I was free and didn't have to worry about anything. I decided I had to go back to reality and figure out why I was here. I started to walk through the woods, until I stopped, feeling light-headed. My mind showed that someone was chanting, like a witch before I blacked out.

Damon

I was walking in the woods, looking for Jeremy since he said he had enough of all the supernatural and came out here. I don't know why the hell he'd come out in the woods to get away from vampires, after all, the woods are the number one place for vampires. I continued to walk through the woods, getting more annoyed with every step I took. "If I don't find this kid in about 10 second I'm leaving him out here" I said to myself.

I stopped and saw something laying on the ground in the distance. I vamp-ran over to it and bent down to see a body, a girl. I flipped her over and couldn't believe my eyes "Alicia" I said surprised and shook her a little but she wouldn't wake. I looked around before picking her up and taking her back to the house. I laid her on the couch just as Stefan and Elena walked in "Damon, what did you do now" Elena said, sounding disappointed.

"What makes you think this was me" I asked, pointing to Alicia as Stefan walked around me to see who it was. "Alicia" Stefan said "who" Elena asked "where did you find her" Stefan asked? "In the woods" I answered "who" Elena asked again, but we seemed to ignore her "what did you do" "again, why do you presume it was me" "because it's you Damon". "Okay, who is this girl" Elena said a little louder, making us look at her "her name is Alicia, she's like an Original" Stefan answered her.

I looked down at Alicia to see her eyes slowly opening "Stefan" I said, nudging his arm. Stefan looked down at Alicia. Once her eyes were full open she quickly vamp-sped to the stairs, standing on the ledge of them and looking down at us. "Alicia, it's me, it's Damon and Stefan" I said, putting my hands up in surrender. Alicia looked down at me for a second before jumping to the ground, barley making a sound when she hit the ground.

Alicia seemed to be studying us before relaxing "Damon, Stefan" she asked and Stefan and I nodded. She walked over and hugged Stefan before hugging me as well "I can't believe you guys are here" Alicia said with a smile before pulling away. "What are you doing in Mystic Falls" I asked her? "Truthfully, I don't know, Rebekah and I came here for a little while" I said. "Rebekah" Elena said confused, making Alicia turn and look at her "as in Rebekah Mikaelson"? "Katherine" Alicia asked confused.

Alicia

There she was, right in front of me, Katherine "Katherine" I said surprised and confused. "No, this is her doppelgänger, Elena" Stefan said, pointing to the Elena girl. "Oh" I said nodding and understanding now. "And yes, Rebekah as in Rebekah Mikaelson" I said, fully looking at Elena. "How are you friend with her" Elena asked "easily, she's one of my oldest friends" I said with a smile. "If you didn't guess I'm a vampire or did, you just miss that little act of me jumping to the top of the stairs" I asked, pointing to the top of the stairs.

Elena sighed, clearly annoyed "Alicia is like one of the Originals, she was the first human turned by Kol" Stefan said with a small laugh. "How" Elena asked, so I had to tell her the story of Klaus and I. She seemed surprised that Klaus actually carried for someone. Suddenly my phone went off, and I answered it "hello Rebekah" I said, laying back on the couch. "I swear you and Klaus become more and more alike every day, where are you" Rebekah said, sounding like she was walking.

"I am, at the moment, sitting on the couch of the Salvatore house, telling Elena Gilbert of the stories of the Mikaelson family and myself," I said with a small smirk. I heard Rebekah stop walking "are you serious," "very," I said. "Alicia, get out of there now, the Servitors have a grudge with our family and will use you to get to us. Get out if there," Rebekah said, walking faster from what I could hear.

"No, I actually like it here," I said with a smile and hung up the phone. "Something tells me that Rebekah wants you back," Damon said with a smirk. "That family has me on a leash," I said "well from what I could tell, they need you on one," Damon said. I looked at him "why," I asked "because, when I found you, you were unconscious," "what," I asked, sitting up and looking at him and Stefan.

"When he brought you back you were out" Stefan said, making me look at the ground. "What happened" Damon asked, and I debated in my head if I should say anything to them about the baby and that I'm "sick". "I don't know, maybe I'm just hungry" I said with a smile. Suddenly my phone rang in my pocket and I answered it "what is it now Rebekah" I said with a sigh, standing up. "We have a problem" Rebekah said "what's new" I said more to myself. "Klaus knows we left, he's coming".
