He heard footsteps coming from within the woods. He didn't worry too much about them because it was more than likely to be Dave,

"Hello, anyone here?" Billy then said while getting up. But then he heard someone coming from behind him. The next thing he knew, there were hands around his neck.

"Time for payback time!" Said the person that had him by the neck. The person then dragged him by the neck and pushed his head under the pool water.
