It was a week after Soobin and Yeonjun's meet up, the Queen noticed that Soobin was a little bright than he is usually. Sunhee, being a nosy person she is, when her son left his room, she decided to bargain around his things.

"I wonder.. oh!" She exclaims as she saw an opened paper. There, was written about their meet ups on the same hill. When Sunhee knew about this, her eyes flamed in madness.

"I SEE. It's the Chaos Prince, again." Sunhee spoke, her voice trembling in madness. She was mad due to the fact that her son is meeting up with this Prince frequently.

Soobin would always leave the castle unnoticed, which makes the Queen mad. She also hates the thought of Soobin having friends, she thinks that her son would be irresponsible if there are any disturbances.

"I'll pay him a.. visit," Sunhee smiles, crippling the paper she was holding.

Yeonjun was busily watering his succulent plants when a man knocked on his door.

"Hold on!" He says, putting down the watering can he's holding. Yeonjun swiftly ran towards the door; as he opens, there was the Duke.

"For you, your Highness." The Duke speaks, smiling at the Chaos Prince. It seems that it is from someone he expects.

Yeonjun thanked the Duke, and immediately jumped into his bed.

" dear yeonjun, i hope you're reading this. how about we meet again? i'll see you on apocalypse hill.  — soobin. "

Yeonjun found the message strange, Soobin doesn't write in small letters, plus his letter is usually long. Nonetheless, the Chaos Prince smiles, and was ready to change his clothes.

There were some doubts, but he looked more on the bright side.

"Maybe he isn't busy." Yeonjun chanted in his mind, walking downstairs, wearing a long coat.

"Where is my favorite son going?" Grandma Chae asked, smiling at him.

The Prince smiled, "up to meet someone." He replies, making grandma Chae giggle.

While on his way to get his horse, something came into his mind.

"I should bring Taehyun and Huening Kai! But.. what if he gets uncomfortable? Yeah, I shouldn't—"

Yeonjun's thoughts were cut off when a hand pressed against his shoulder.

"Hey, hyung!" Kai suddenly gleams, making Yeonjun flinch; both in his action, and sudden appearance.

"Hi, hyung." Taehyun greets, making Yeonjun confused.

"Why are you both here?" Yeonjun asks, making Taehyun and Kai look at each other.

"You called our names?" Kai replied, puzzled as well. Then, Yeonjun remembers that whenever Kai, and Taehyun is chanted in mind together, will alert them.

"Ah.. I forgot." Yeonjun responded, now stuck in a dilemma.

If he left the two in the castle, they might get mad at him, but if he let the two join, Soobin might feel uncomfortable.

"Where are you going? You seemed to be.. clothed fancy.." Taehyun asks suspiciously, Kai looks at him as well, but is intrigued.

"I'm off to meet a friend.." He replies nervously, any minute, Kai can throw a tantrum.

"Hu—" Kai was about to protest, "I'm going with you." Taehyun interjected, immediately silencing the younger, as he knew that he will throw tantrums non-stop.

Kai frowned, "I'm coming along!" He says, pouting. Taehyun, and Yeonjun found this action of him cute.

Yeonjun sighs, "Alright.."

On their way to the Apocalypse Hill, Taehyun already sensed something weird about the aura of the hill.

"Is this friend of yours a.. livid person?" Taehyun asks bluntly, as he felt the air thinning, every slash of air feels a slash of dagger. The air feels hot.

Yeonjun's one eyebrow raised, "no? He's calm."

"The air should be cold, considering that he is a calm person." Taehyun has a sharp senses, he knew whether the person is to be trusted or not.

"The air.. it's still hot. What is this aura?"

Taehyun feels the heat of his body arises as they get closer to the hill. Meanwhile, Yeonjun was being smiley as the thought of meeting Soobin again.

As they reached the certain part of the hill, there was no one waiting for them.

Yeonjun's eyes squinted as he sees no one around, there was no hint of human presence.

"You're so innocent." A voice suddenly stated, voice of a lady, with the hint of mockery.

Taehyun's judgement was right. It wasn't his Yeonjun-hyung's friend, rather an enemy.

"Get them." She speaks, smiling. She saw how naïve, and careless this Prince could be.

As the lady spoke, tons of guards were around them, it was the Rising Moon's guards. Kai was swift to recognize the uniform, and the position of the army.

As Kai observes around, and sighted a woman, probably in her late 40s, and wearing a long coat.

She immediately left as the army started approaching Yeonjun, and his friends. The Chaos Prince started pulling away the two.

"Run, run!" Yeonjun says frantically, still in the midst of confusion. He was certain that the letter was from Soobin, or was it?

While Kai, Taehyun, and Yeonjun were running, Taehyun tried to create a shield using his knowledge from his everyday practice of sorcery.

The barrier was successfully created, but the arrows were too strong, the shield won't be able to hold for long.

"Fuck, it won't last! Kai, do something!" Taehyun hisses as he feels his energy draining as more arrows tries to penetrate the shield.

It was evident in Taehyun's face that he is reaching his edge, so Kai immediately used his ability.

Kai made the rocks; be it large or small, float, and threw it agains the following army. He cannot afford to see Taehyun like this.

The rocks worked, which made Kai sigh in relief. Yeonjun's eyes were trembling.

"Am I gonna die?" He says to himself, he feels his legs numb, and his heart racing.

Lost in his thoughts, he failed to notice the arrow towards at him. But his friend, Taehyun did, so he deflected the arrow, and successfully left Yeonjun unscratched.

Still running away, more and more army was following them. Their legs gradually becomes numb, but was still trying to run away.

Yeonjun's left arm was covered in scars due to the arrows and branches hitting him. While Taehyun felt an agony on his legs, turns out, there was an arrow, pierced. This was immediately noticed by Kai.

"Go, I'll handle from here." Kai speaks, his behavior suddenly change. With all force, Kai threw Yeonjun, and Taehyun somewhere far, but was still able to land safely.

With his energy left, Kai lifted all the army, one by one, and threw them back down the hill. Surprisingly, he still has energy.

"Fuckers." Kai hissed, teleporting to the place where he sent the two flying as well.

"... oh... okay.. just... AH!" Taehyun shouts, the arrow was deep through his muscles, making it difficult to pull out. Yeonjun, on the other hand, was lying on the ground, almost lifeless.

"Hyungs!" Kai cried, running towards the two. Taehyun immediately smiles as he saw Kai running towards them.

"You.. you good.. Kai?" Yeonjun asks, trying to lift his head to greet the younger.

Kai was about to speak, but was cut off when Yeonjun spoke first, "Thank you, Kai."

Kai's heart clenched, "it's nothing, hyung." He replies, making Yeonjun smile.

"Kai.. help me here.. please?" Taehyun sheepishly smiles, breaking the moment. Kai nods, "sure," he smiled, kneeling in front of Taehyun.

"Thanks," Taehyun smiles, which made Kai's heart jump, as if it was leaving his rib cage.

While Taehyun was busy healing himself, Kai and Yeonjun sat beside him. Taehyun is leaning on Kai's shoulder, Yeonjun, on the other hand, is hugging his knees.

"Those Rising Moons.. why did they suddenly attacked us!?" Kai broke the silence, growling in anger. Taehyun shakes his head, while Yeonjun remained silent.

The Chaos Prince doesn't know the reason as well. It couldn't be Soobin, right? He wouldn't do such thing.

"There was no valid reason for us to be attacked. The land we stand on wasn't theirs." Taehyun says, suggesting that there is another reason on why they were ambushed.

Yeonjun sighs, "was it me? Was it because I have connection with the Moon Prince?" He bluntly revealed, making his dongsaengs' eyes widened.

"With who!?" They shouted in unison.

"Ah shit, they don't know." Yeonjun face palms, making the two intrigued.

"Oh come on now, you owe us a story, hyung!" Kai angrily stated, pouting, putting Yeonjun at ease.

"I'll tell you soon. For now, let's take care of our wounds." Yeonjun answered, earning a nod from the two younger.

It was noon when the three decided to stay under the three, telling stories to each other, and sharing moments that they haven't share.
