1975s.Fredbear's Singin' Show is rebranding. What was once a modest stage attraction is becoming something larger: a family diner filled with music, colorful characters, new mechanical performers, improved mascot costumes, and ambitions considerably bigger than the little building can contain. William Afton and Henry Emily are determined to make it work, which means there is suddenly an extraordinary amount of paperwork to be done. You happen to be looking for a job. It seems simple enough. A secretary's position-answering telephones, organizing appointments, handling correspondence, keeping track of commissions, and occasionally reminding two rather distracted inventors that meetings are, in fact, real things that occur in the physical world. You don't expect much from it. Certainly not that flamboyant man. He's younger than you imagined, surprisingly affable, endlessly talkative, and possessed of the peculiar habit of turning every quiet moment into a conversation. Behind the polished manners and easy smile is a man whose mind never seems to stop moving, forever occupied with machinery, entertainment, costumes, music, and whatever strange idea has caught his attention that afternoon. At first, you're supposedly his personal secretary to assist whatever he needed most. Then his confidante. Then, perhaps, something neither of you quite knows what to call yet. After all, every great performance has to begin somewhere.Sometimes it begins with a stage.Sometimes with a sketch. And sometimes with a nervous woman walking into the wrong office at exactly the right time.…

This is a village in the 1970s, Guangyi Village, Yunze Township. The village is approximately five kilometers in radius, and there are 13 villager groups of 135 households with 1201 people. In May, the setting sun shone obliquely over the houses, bridges, and rivers in the village, as if covered with a soft layer of gold.A straight road runs through from a distance, and an eight-meter-wide bungalow stands prominently on the roadside. This is the Guangyi Village Cooperative. The door is a row of glass cabinets, displaying stationery, paper and other supplies. At the left corner of the cabinet, there are 70s signature snacks-ear ears, 2 knits per pound, no food stamps. This is the favorite of Guangyi Village children. In many cases, children between the ages of 3 and 15 can often be seen wandering in front of the counter of the cooperative, staring straight at the jar full of snacks.…

THE SKIN Salvatore Mangione, MD "The power of making a correct diagnosis is the key to all success in the treatment of skin diseases; without this faculty, the physician can never be a thorough dermatologist, and therapeutics at once cease to hold their proper position, and become empirical." —Louis A. Duhring (1845-1913) "Beautys but skin deep." —John Davies of Hereford (1565-1618) BASIC TERMINOLOGY AND DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUES 1. How many skin diseases exist? What are the two main categories of skin lesions? There are more than 1400 skin diseases. Yet, only 30 are important, common, and worth knowing. The first step toward their recognition is the separation of primary from secondary lesions (Table 3-1). • Primary lesions result only from disease and have not been changed by additional events (such as trauma, scratching, or medical treatment; see Table 3-1). To better identity primary lesions, pay attention to their colors, shape, arrangement, and distribution. • Secondary lesions instead have been altered by outside manipulation, medical treatment, or their own natural course. 2. What are the major primary lesions? • Hanel's: Flat, nonpalpable, circumscribed areas of discoloration cm in diameter. Typical macules are the familiar freckles. • Patches: flat, nonpalpable areas of skin discoloration >0.5 cm in diameter (i.e., a large macula). A typical patch is the one of yitillgo. • Papules: Raised and palpable lesions <0.5 cm in diameter. They may or may not have a different color from the surrounding skin. A typical papule is a raised nevus. >0.5 are 0.5 cm…
