Trong sách ông đã đổi tên, nhưng ông dùng những dữ kiện lịch sử về hòn đảo đó.Năm 1602 một người Tây Ban Nha đã phát hiện ra đảo. Trên đảo có thổ dân sinh sống cách đó 4.000 năm. Sau khám phá của người Tây Ban Nha, vài người khách đến viếng, rồi nhiều người đến sinh sống yên bình trên đảo. Năm 1835, người dân trên đảo bị tàu bắt đưa đi. Một cô gái không đồng ý. Cô nhảy từ trên tàu xuống biển, bơi trở về nhà. Cô sống một mình trên đảo cho đến năm 1853.…
