"Dad, is it okay if a friend comes over for a bit after school today?" I ask my dad before leaving for school

"Yeah, sure. Which friend? Jungkook? Jimin? All of them?" He laughs.

"Um...neither of them actually."

He looks at me, confused.

"I have a friend...that's a girl." I explain, "Her name is Mina."

He looks at me sideways, "How come this is the first time I'm hearing about her?"

"Because we just met a few months ago. She transfered to our school from Japan with some friends."

He sighs, "I won't be here when you get home, but I'll be back not much later. She can come over, but no funny business, Taehyung. I'd be very disappointed in you."

"Right. No funny business. Thanks dad."

"You said you're going out after school too. Are you going with her?" He asks.

"Yeah."

"Just her?"

I nod.

"Okay." He says, "Don't stay out too late and stay out of trouble."

"I'll be good. See you later, dad."

I was worried my dad would be against me bringing a girl over, but he surprised me. My mom always told me not to get mixed up with girls because they'd just distract me from school. But when she meets Mina, she'll change her mind. I have a feeling she'll really like her. And besides, my grades have gotten even better ever since Mina showed up.

Walking to school, I bumped into Hobi-hyung waiting at one of the crosswalks.

"Oh, hyung." I tap his shoulder, "I didn't know you went this way."

"Taehyung!" He smiles, "I don't usually go this way, I just wanted to stop by the convenience store over there this morning."

He seemed like he was in a good mood, as usual.

We walk together across the street.

"So I hear you have a girlfriend now." He says.

"What? Who told you?"

"If I tell you, would you be mad at them?" He asks.

"No. I won't be mad."

"It was Jungkook."

"I knew it! I told him not to say anything."

"It's okay though! I didn't tell anyone and I don't think he told anyone else." He says.

I sigh, "This is why I don't tell you guys things like this."

"Sorry, Tae." He says, "We're just happy for you! You still love us, right?"

"I could never hate you guys."

"Alright. I won't say anything about it anymore." He pats my shoulder, "Let's just get to school."

At school, when the guys saw me with Mina, we just acted like friends. I knew they were expecting something and I didn't want to give it to them. I don't know what they want from me. There's no PDA allowed on campus anyways.

I didn't have lunch with them that day. Instead, Mina and I had lunch together at a different spot. She told her friends, but I didn't tell mine.

"So we're going out after school right?" She asks.

"Yeah, but if it's okay, I want to stop by my house first just to get changed. I don't like wearing these uniforms all day." I explain.

"Oh." She says, "I wish you would've told me then I would've brought some clothes to change into too."

"Oh, I'm sorry. If you really want to change after school, you can borrow another one of my hoodies or something."

She laughs, "You don't mind giving me your clothes like that?"

I shake my head, "I don't mind. You look cute in my clothes anyways."

She smiles, "I wish I could wear them more often."

I chuckle, "Do you know why I wanted to go shopping with you?"

"Why?"

"So we could get matching clothes and stuff."

"Oooh. Then we'll really be like a couple." She says.

"What do you mean? We're already a couple."

"I know, but whenever I see couples on dates around town I see them wearing matching outfits and jewelry and things like that. I think it's cute."

"Then I guess we'll be cute together."

"Your parents aren't home?" Mina asks after school.

The two of us were walking to my house together.

"They're both at work." I say, "But it's alright. We won't be here long."

We go inside my house and down the hall to my room. I slide my closet open to find something to wear.

"It's kind of cold out right now..." I look around, "Do you want to wear this? It's one of my favorites."

I hand her my off-white hoodie. It was oversized on me so it'll probably be huge on her.

She takes off the uniform tie and blazer to put the hoodie on.

"You have a lot of hoodies." She says.

"What can I say? They're comfy." I pull out a hoodie that's the same style, just different color and put it on, "Now we match."

She falls into me to hug me, getting lost in the fluff of both of the hoodies.

"You're so big and huggable. This is nice." She says.

"You fit perfectly in my arms. I think we were meant to be."

"And I think you're right." She stands on her tip-toes to kiss me.

I wrap my arms around her waist and turn us around, slowly falling onto my bed.

"What if we just stay here instead?" I ask.

"If we stay here like this any longer, you're probably going to be in trouble when your parents get home."

I sigh, "I guess you're right."

I say this, but neither of us wanted to move. She was over me, staring down at me and I was completely on my back looking up at her.

"Just one more kiss? Please?" I whisper.

"Alright. Come here."

I pull her in one last time, except this one lasted a lot longer.

"I love you, Mina." I say when we part.

"And I love you, Taehyung."

"I'll never get tired of that." I chuckle.

"I'd hope so." She says, "Is this going to be a normal thing now?"

"What? Kissing?"

She nods.

"Sure. Why not? You're okay with people seeing now though?" I ask.

"I'm okay, but are you?"

I pause before saying anything, "Yeah. I am."

She smiles and takes my hand, "Alright then. Let's get this date started."
