Every day felt like an endless loop of the twisted cat and mouse game.

Getting chase in a match, trying your best to survive while being tortured by those horrible monsters, being revived after every traumatized rounds, having a short break before repeat it all again and again.

At this point, Noob feel like they should already familiar with what they have been through every single day. They should. But they can't stop the way their whole body trembling by the sight of the killer, they can't stop the fear wherever a teammate die in front of them, they can't tell themselves to ignore the pain when the sword plunge at their heart, when they are being burned alive or when they are being tear apart by the hand of the evil.

There's no way out of this hell. Noob know that they are stuck with other people for eternity until the one keeping them here decide to end their miserable life.

Today is supposed to be the same but Noob have a feeling something is not right. They can feel their heart beating loudly in their chest from the unknown pressure. There is something strange happening right now...

Why do they feel warmth spread throughout their whole body? Why do they feel like there's something pulling at their soul, like it want to take the whole control?

Oh no!

Realization come quickly. There is something, someone that's trying to take their own body. The fear slowly creeping up in their mind.

Noob want to scream, to beg for someone that can pull them out of this spell, but the pure power squeeze their throat. Not a single word spill out of their open mouth, their whole body struggle to move, to actually do something.

Noob feel like they want to cry right now, they are slowly losing control over what they truly own. Their mind, their soul seem to trap inside a box, only an empty vessel remain.

The strange entity look around through the new eyes, seemingly interested in how the body work. It take a step downstairs into the comfortable warmth of the fire crackling inside the fireplace.

Elliot seem to recognize them, waving from afar and pointing toward the plate of pizza he's holding. It act up right away, accept the offer and take a bite of the pizza, quickly thank the pizza boy with a huge smile before sprinting upstairs. Noob mind racing again once the ticking sound of a clock seem to be louder and louder in their ear as time pass. This mean they have been chosen for another match, but this time, they don't have any control.

The cruel reality make Noob tremble inside the mind prison. What will happen this round? Will it do anything bad to the body? Or even worse, harm the people that they hold dearly?

Time is not enough for Noob to think as they begin to black out and wake up at the Horror Hotel map with the killer being Jason. It start to look around, curious like a newborn baby upon seeing the map. Noob catch a glimpse of blue hair behind the bush. Could it be...

It's Guest!!!

Noob feel so happy they can imagine themselves jumping up and down like a high school girl see their crush walk by right now. Guest also seem to notice Noob as his slightly nod before continue fixing the generator. It crouches down and look at the generator, bouncing in place before quickly finish everything. In fact, too fast for someone who haven't played this "game" before. Even Guest is a little surprised about how Noob act little bit odd today but brush it off as practice result.

He pat Noob on the shoulder once they finish and stand up, earning a stare from them, the pet staring at owner from across the room stare. A thought appears in Guest mind. What is wrong with Noob today, surely they don't act like how they normally did...

"I got this one! It is easier than I thought." Noob beam up with happiness

"Quite impressive work you got there kid, but we still need to finish other generators so let moving before Jason find us."

Guest walk forward before stop and turn around, he searches in his pocket and bring out a med kit then handle it to Noob.

"Take this, you will need it."

Noob gleefully take the med kit and magically put it inside their pant pocket before skipping behind Guest like a duckling. Guest keep walking, sometimes look behind to check if Noob still there while being cautious about everything around both of them.

A wild generator appear!

"You go do the generator, I will stay guard behind."

Guest stern voice speak up as he gently pushes Noob near the machine, which they don't complain and happily fix everything. What they can't see behind is Guest frown and glare at one direction, his eye almost unblink. Only the sound of gears turning from the generator and Noob soothing hum fill the air, but Guest keep staying alert.

The second generator finished.

Noob stand up and dusting themselves off before turn around and face Guest.

"I finish this one too!"

"Great job, now we need to-"

The sudden blasting music made him stop right away. His body tense up like he is about to punch someone real hard. A small gasp escape Noob mouth before they sprint away from Guest, which alert Jason of their presence as he sprint after them.

Guest call out for Noob name before cursing under his breath and chasing after both of them.

Jason land a hard hit on Noob, his machete leave a deep cut on their upper back, earning a quiet hiss from the pain.

Guest furrows his eyebrows right at the scene and use his charge to try and get to the killer faster.

Instead of seeing Jason land a hit on Noob again, he see them turn around sharply before runs straight toward Jason. What are they doing?

Jason slash the air, earning a surprise stare from Guest, a confused look appear behind his mask with Noob little bold decision. Meanwhile in the conscious place, Noob almost lost their voice from how much they have scream at the stranger who controls their body with such reckless move. Should they feel glad that they can't feel pain while in here?

Noob slowly walk again before suddenly turn around and lunge at the killer. Jason blink at them and swing his weapon. Another miss.

Oh that is quite impressive Noob not gonna lie. But that still can't give them answers about the fact that why this mystery higher being stole their body control out of nowhere. Just to do this?

Unfortunately, Jason learns fast with Noob little strategy as he quickly spin around and using his Gashing Wound combo on Noob, bring their health to below 50%. This alert a certain healer far away.

The huge chainsaw plunge into their chest like it's trying to tear the poor victim in half.

This time though, something is not right as the deep wound that just appear on Noob body - which is supposed to be covered in messy, nasty blood - is completely clean. The symbol is still there, crave deep into the tender skin.

But nothing come out.

The red substance that people in this hell is too familiar with is gone, like they're not even here in the first place.

Noob whine, already feel the pain in their head just by looking at that scene. The strange event also not being spare from their observed eye. Noob bite their nails, doubt thought feel their mind as panic stir once again in the chest.

Guest can truly confirm there's something weird with Noob today. He himself has witnessed many brutal actions in the past countless time, even felt the impacts they did to his body. And yet, he never see something like what happened with Noob.

Is Noob even human at this point? When the thing that keep a normal human alive doesn't seem to exist to them.

But despite everything, that one is still his teammate, his duty to protect, so Guest doesn't hesitate to slam his own body at Jason, make the killer stumble a little. His left hand grip the machete that swing down on him before deal a hard blow right to Jason face that if possible, the mask should be broken from all the force.

Guest glance at the direction Noob limping toward, hope they can find Elliot somewhere or heal themselves with the med kit soon before facing Jason who just back from the stun with a defense pose, ready to buy as much time as he can for the whole team.

Noob running in circle cluelessly, somehow totally forget that the med kit is still sitting in their pocket while Noob aggressively try to find a way to point out the huge ass med kit lying there. They mentally pull their hair once they notice everything is pointless, not until some familiar faces get in sight.

Noob swear if they can, they will 100% down on their knees while hugging Elliot legs and crying from all the thing happened to them in a short period of time. Elliot worryingly throw the pizza to Noob which Noob shove the imaginary pizza down their throat.

The health is back at 70%, they're out of danger for now, but Noob body still twitching and shaking slightly which doesn't go unnotice by Elliott. He quickly look at Chance and Shedletsky standing nearby to give them a signal.
Elliot embrace Noob in a hug, his hands softly pat Noob back as his soothing voice spill encourage words into their ears. Shedletsky give them a light pat on the head while Chance try to encourage the shaking teammate beside him with his totally not lame jokes.

Moment pass before Noob body relax, they poke and ask Elliot to let go, give him a resurrect smile. All four of them start some small talk to pass the time with the last two generators are being fixed by Two Time and 007n7.

"Guest is low. Noob, you stay here and hide okay? The round will end soon."
Elliot stand up, ready to blast off, not until telling his easily scared teammate to stay in place. But he doesn't need to do anything when Guest come into view, his health is below 30%, a critical warning sight. He has cut wounds all over his body, the most serious one should be the huge wound that still dripping blood on his stomach, even though that won't stop him from fighting back the killer.

Dodging one swing that almost chopped his head off, Guest uses his good hand that clutching the hurt one to quickly swing around and block the next attack, dealing another punch to Jason in the face. He continues running, knowing full well Elliot is already notice and on his way to help, he just need to buy more time.

A silhouette appear before him, just in time.

"Catch this Guest!!!"

Elliot throw his pizza straight into Guest mouth, which he quickly down the whole piece before stand straight up and make a fast nod as a thank you. Guest use his charge to push Jason away, but seem like there's something else has the killer interest as his eye behind the mask suddenly locked in Noob form like he is being hypnotized.
One step aside is all it need for Jason to dodge and make Guest charge straight into the wall behind. His eye wide in panic as he watches Jason sprint straight at Noob.

Noob face light up once the realization hit them as they see the way Jason run right toward them, the louder chasing music only make their heart beat faster, almost like it gonna pop any second.

Noob let out a squeak and quickly run away while Jason hot on their tail.

"Chance, Shedletsky, we need to go now, fast."

Elliot raise his voice, already moving the moment he realizes something is not right. Noob also panic. At this time, they're not worried about themselves anymore but the person staying inside their body. Of course they still skeptical and afraid of the mystery person that stole their body, but all this person do lately is just explore like curious person and even help the team by finishing the generators.

They did no harmful action yet, so for now, Noob will lower the guard a little bit.

They know how painful it is to get killed, even them can still not familiar with the pain after thousands of rounds, so they afraid the first dead will affect this person mental health badly. Still suspicious, but they don't want other people to get hurt and bare the fate like them.

Noob glance at the huge "digital" clock above their head, 30s left. The round almost finish, just a bit more and this will be one of those magical rounds when no one died. Noob haven't used any of their skills yet, and Noob know for a fact that they don't even know they have them, but they are not the one in charge right now. So all they can do is pray for Noob to last these moment.

"Ouch!"

That doesn't look good.

Jason already land a hit in the first 5s and the second one right after, they still have 20s left.

"Bang!!!" A bullet fly past Jason, missing the killer and aiming for the cake on the table?

"Chance!" Elliot raise his voice

"Oops, sorry." Chance shrug, feel embarrassed for his bad aim

Noob clutching their arm, their breath ragging as they try to avoid being hit by running around the table.

"Whosh!!!" Shedletsky sword miss 1 inch from Jason as the killer ignore him and just run passby

"Is this really our sentinels?" Elliot want to face palm from the hilarious scene these two men just make in front of him

Noob almost out of breath as they struggle to move their feet, almost fall down with how wobble they knees are and have to use the edge of the table to stand up.

"Whish!!!!" Guess successfully block a slash for Noob but sadly, he spin too fast and miss his punch right behind Jason

"Yeah this is the people I work hard to heal for." Elliot deadpan, he sigh, ignore the guilty look paste on Guest face

With a swift move, Elliot use his skill to rush right between Jason and Noob as they almost collapsed on the table.

"Careful!!!" Noob can only shout in worry, only 3s left, they can't die here this time!

The machete come in contact with Elliot, slashing multiple time across his chest, earning a painful grunt from him.

Darkness surround everyone vision.

Noob shoot straight up, gasping for air like their life depend on it.

They're back in their rightful body.
Clutching their chest, Noob try to calm down the heavy breath. A fearful round, if it's not for the aching in their body, Noob can't tell if that crazy "dream" is real or not. A strange feeling appear in their chest, the entity is gone, but that feeling still linger somewhere inside. Noob hesitate touch his heart, where the warmth slowly spread around and jolt when the shock tingling in their mind.

It's not hurting them, quite the opposite. They feel the way it travel across their body, easing the pain, soothing the aching in their bone, cradling their mind lovingly. Noob breath out a shakily breath, they get out of the bed, try to ignore the symbol on their chest that whispering about how they're now belong to someone.

They should go downstairs and meet up with other survivors like usual. About the weird things just happened? Noob hesitates, they will leave it in the dark, for now.

➥ The way I wrote this at 4 A.M-
Now you know why this is so short and rush, I'm planning to make future chapters longer, around 5k words instead of 2k. How about special chapter? I'll try make it reach 10k if possible.

➥ Roblox logic will be apply to the characters we use while for others, they still use in real life logic. This is the reason why "bug" and "facts" in Roblox when appear make the characters feel weird out sometimes, take Noob in this chapter as an example.

➥ I headcanon the Spectre connect their conscious to every characters (cause they can) to feel the thrilled sometimes. The biggest reason why they become the first and fastest one to get obsessed, cause y'all know how the love multiple with each person fall in love with you.
