Forsaken.

The famous game with the fanbase that growing super fast your friends had mention a lot in the past few weeks. At first, you never intend to play it, most of the fear coming from the fact you're afraid to interact with other people as a team. You prefer those games that you can do fine on your own, or those kinds of horror games that you can play and have fun with your friends. It was a pure incident when your mouse act up and misclicked the game appear on the home page.

You hesitate for a moment.

This game is not what you supposed to play. But there is no hurt in trying a little bit of this, right?

The loading screen is finally over. You found your character standing inside what you assumed a cabin. The big timer on the top tell you that there's still three more minutes left on the match. Guess you have some time to explore the basics of this game before embarrass yourself with stupid move on your first match. Control your character to move around, you inspect everything that can interact with. Nothing special. The dialogue on those NPCs seemed to be just placeholder or something that's spoiled about the lore.

One more minute left. You quickly click on the inventory button and found your free characters. There was only one for each factor, the killer name Jason, which you kind of familiar with. You used to be a fan of the movie. While the Survival name Noob, another familiar name on Roblox for you. Open the abilities information you just found. You quite shocked with the amount of words the dev used to describe the skills. Your ADHD ass can't focus on this long paragraph. Guess you need to find the shorten version of this then.

The timer ticked off, showing that the killer had won. Then it start to count down again, but this time only fourty second, inform that the next match gonna start. You are quite nervous. What if you do bad on your first match, will people gonna judge you or even worse, blame you because you cannot help them?

Glance at the chat box that is flooding with chat, you relaxed after realizing what they are yapping to each other.

Potato (whom you know is the killer last round due to their name): I saw that shot you loser.

Rice: Nuh uh, you saw nothing.

Potato: Yuh uh, bro hit me upstairs while I was standing downstairs.

Fish: Stop eating the chicken. Your fat ah can't even land a hit on them.

Rice: *gasp* You dare insult me and my chicken?

Those three remind you of your friend group whenever y'all play together. The screen turned black for a sec, then bright up right away showing the killer of this round is Jason.

The place you spawn in looked like a garden. There is someone using a character with blue hair also spawned nearby and a machine that not so far away. You control Noob to come closer and inspect the machine.

"Press F to..."

The interact button is quite different. Usually you are familiar with other game that "Press E to...", so it took you by surprise.

The puzzle appear on your screen look quite easy, you might say. You had played game required fast reflex before, so it took no time for you to finish the machine.

Right after the last part of the machine being finished, you get startle by a face on your camera. It was the blue hair character you spawned with. Not to mention he was holding what seemed to be a medkit. He quickly drop the medkit on the ground. Seem like he want to give it to you, which is so sweet of him. Upon seeing you pick up the medkit, he bring out two sticks and hit them together while running around you in circle. You have to admit, he is adorable acting like this. He's running sideways, implied that he want you to follow. I mean, totally a good idea given you still know nothing about the map, even your own abilities.

Catch up with the Guest, you try to manage your stamina as much as you can. An important rule to remember when you play a horror or chasing games, do not waste your stamina in case the screen randomly popped up with a "RUN" test. 

Helead you to another machine and let you fix it while emoting behind you. Guesshe's having fun by himself. You're not gonna complain though. More money and Exp for you. No sight of the killer yet. It's so peaceful with these background music that you almost forget you are in a chasing survival game, not some random "Fixed the machine" games.

Second machine finished, three more minute left. Just when you decide to type in chat say hi to Guest, the sudden change in music alarm you. Seemed like the killer is nearby. Moving your camera frankly around you trying to find the killer, you saw him sprinting toward you from behind a random wall. You start to run away as well, trying to cut the killer off your tail. He doesn't target, instead goes straight toward you, like you are his most priority right now. And Guest do the same, having the goal for himself to keep you alive.

From just 15 second of chasing you notice that both survival and killer speed almost feel the same. The only difference should be the stamina. You worryingly look at the stamina that slowly deplete to 0 as Noobs start to walk again while Jason getting nearer and nearer, ready to strike you any moment. A hit land on, you surprisingly give you a speed boost for a sec, but also give you a helpless debuff. You can't start running right now, because with these little stamina that just refill, there's no way you can run from the killer. So you run straight toward Jason and sharply turn left, praying that the magical hit box won't hit you. And surprisingly, it don't. You feel both amuse and relief about that. Doing the same trick again but this time turn right, the successfully juke make you grin a bit.

Sadly, the third hit actually get you it was even a special attack that quickly bring your HP down to below half.

"Ok, and I can start panic now."

Start sprinting again, you panic inside your head looking at Noob holding his hand while your whole screen filled with red effect indicate that you're on low HP. You mumble praying like a chant to someone that can help you in the situation you're in right now.

"Ahhhh, I need help I need help. Oh my god my health."

You see the familiar silhouette that dash from afar and pushed the killer away, give you a brief moment to breathe. It was the Guest, seemed like he come back to save you. You take that precious time to quickly run away from the scene, not before move the camera behind and witness Guest just punch the killer straight in the face. Ouch, that look hurt.

Limping toward what looked like a playhouse (?), you see three people standing there doing emote together. The one with red uniform seemed to notice you and quickly throw a piece of pizza toward Noob, healing him back to 70% HP. Lining the name with the characters, these three seem to be the ingredient trio that just fighting in the lobby. Pressing every button on your keyboard to figure out a way you can use emote, there was only one which is waving. At least better than nothing. Waving at the Elliot, you take a moment to thank them.

Name: Thank you so much for the pizza.

Rice: You're welcome, Noobie :3

Such friendly people.

Then without communication, they start to form a triangle with you in the middle and start dancing while walking around. Why did this look like a cult? You might not know but there was a Two Time player passed by in the background, double check and questioning if he should join before go away to fix another machine. Money come first.

Two more minute left and that Guest is at 27% HP. You feel bad for just goofing around when he need help, but it is better hiding than mindlessly go out and make the Guest already hard job harder.

Snap out of your thought. You see Guest running toward your group from afar, holding his arm with pretty low HP. Elliot to the rescue. Magically, Jason change his target after Guest eat the pizza and you are the chosen one. Congratulation, not. Why are you being targeted again?

The chase between you and the killer continue, this time with a Elliot, a Chance, a Guest, a Shedletsky and a Two Time stalking from afar hot behind you as they try to distract the killer.

30 seconds left, you can do this. Jason swing his machete, you get bleeding debuff.

25 seconds. He swing the second time, your health quickly dropped down to half.

20 seconds. Chance shoot his gun, missing in progress of a 360°. Awkward indeed.

15 seconds. Shedletsky try to stun the killer. He missed, horrible.

10 seconds. Guest try to block and punch again. He punch the wrong way this time.

5 seconds, one more hit and you will die. You screaming in your head, pray for any luck that can help you survive this.

3 seconds. Jason catch up to you, instead of killing Noob, he does a combo attack on Elliot - who just dash between you and the killer and take the hit instead.

Time over. The screen turned black again with all characters sitting at the table.

Potato: "Protect the president" ah scene.

Fish: "Get down, Mr. President" ah Elliot.

Rice: Shush. That's was epic you have to admit.

Rice: I save my Noob.

Rice: All hail Noob!!!

Potato: Simp.

Your first round end with the most amazing, thrilling chase that you feel like it's coming from an action movie. Also your first win in this game, so yay. The lobby become chaotic with the trio fighting again. People emote with each other around the room. You exhaled before quickly skim through the long abilities intro. So speed cola, ghost burger and slateskin. Still no idea how to use them correctly, but at least you are more knowledgeable this time. As the timer countdown, you also counting, prepare for another cat and mouse chasing game.

Interesting Facts

➥ Most of this based on my real experiences in game, maybe a bit different cause I can't clearly remember all of the smaller details. Shout out to the trio that actually make me interested in the game by helping me on my first day playing.

➥ I play around 5-6 rounds without reading the abilities info, just by asking people what did this do and somehow manage to win 3 rounds in a row. Quite impressive.

➥ I use speak to text to write this entire chapter, the amount of grammar errors make me cry but I can't fix them myself cause I don't even know how- Please leave a comment and point out mistakes if you find one.

➥ Interesting Facts in both chapter will be different, as they are from Player POV and character POV. The Player POV only talk about my random things in real life, while the other chapter will explain more details about what I'm planning and headcanons for everyone.
