The Pagoda

❝Mama! Mama!❞

THE PAGODA WAS like an endless maze filled with doors and corridors that could lead you to the starting point. All of you were lost and confused, not knowing where to go or search. Mk was sure that the last stone was hidden and kept here by Li Jing, but your friends seemed to doubt it.

There were a lot of demons trapped in here by Li Jing, some were afraid of Wukong because he was the strongest in the group. Meanwhile, Mei was chasing a demon to get him to show you the exit. You giggled and laughed in Mk's arms, clapping your hands together happily. Mk also started to laugh in amusement which upset Mei.

Mei: "You're still laughing! You know we've been trapped in Li Jing's pagoda gor so long! Let me summarize, bringing everyone here is the dumbest thing you, Mk, have ever done." She had on a forced cheerful smile as she clenched her fist in frustration which made Mk gasp in shock.

Wukong: "Mei! That's the dumbest thing you've ever SEEN him do." Monkey King's statement wasn't of a big help to soothe the situation.

Mk: "Hey! Uh- What?" Your brother was actually confused by what Wukong had said.

Mei: "Look! First we have to be stuck in this pagoda along side the ruthless demons imprisoned by Li Jing. Second, we have to look for the Jade Emperors's power, but we're not even sure if it's actually here! And even if we find it, it might not even be one of the stones! Really dumb." What Mei said was a bit harsh that it really hurt Mk and made you pout because your brother was sad.

Tang: "In my opinion, this time, Mk, you were too impulsive."

As the group discussed the matter, you sensed a demonic presence near you. However, you couldn't locate where it was. You just had to keep your guards up for now.

Mk: "This- I uh- It wasn't impulsive! I firmly believe that my perception of Wukong isn't wrong! The Jade Emperor's power is here! And it's definitely... A colored stone."

Pigsy sighed deeply while rubbing his temple.

Pigsy: "Uh- Mk, you're not really convincing."

Mk got frustrated because even his own father figure didn't believe what he was saying. He huffed and sat you down on the ground.

Mk: "It looks like have no choice to use my ultimate move. Tang! Gimme your glasses!" Mk grabbed Tang's glasses and put them on to get in the role, "A long time ago-"

Tang: "Why are you doing this?"

While your friends talked, you could feel Macaque's powers nearby. It wasn't that near, but you could feel it somewhere. With a happy giggle, you teleported to his location, leaving the group unnoticed. When you went there, you looked around with a look of puzzlement on your face until you saw him coming out of the a hallway, "Mama!" You exclaimed happily and started to crawl to Macaque quickly, making the said monkey turn to you.

Macaque: "Y/N? What are you doing here?" He rushed to you, picking you up in his arms.

You happily giggled and hugged him tightly, "Mama." You cooed, nuzzling your face against his cheek. You were very happy to finally see him after this long absence.

Macaque: "Just how did you get here? Don't tell me it's Wukong." He rolled his eyes, thinking that Wukong was the reason why you were here.

You blinked a few times, "Ba?" You questioned in confusion when you heard Macaque mention Monkey King. Macaque rolled his eyes.

Macaque: "Again, don't call him that, he doesn't deserve it because he's irresponsible." When he saw that you were just staring at him, he sighed again, "Let's find a way out of here."

For hours, Macaque walked through the Pagoda for what seemed like hours, going through variety of doors and hallways. However and after a few more minutes, a growl left your lips when you felt that demonic presence again. Macaque looked at you with confusion, not understanding what was going on.

Macaque: "What's the matter, Y/N?" The moment he asked this, many floating purple eyes surrounded you two, "You've got to be kidding me." Macaque mumbled, seeing that he was surrounding.

Your growl became more threatening as if you were warning those things. Macaque on the other hand took a fighting stance in case those things. He knew the main source of these eyes and how dangerous they were.

Suddenly, one of the eyes rushed to you and Macaque was about to attack it. However, a loud and powerful scream came from you, pushing all of the eyes away that they all shattered. Macaque could see the sound waves your cry sent to those things. The shadow monkey stood there surprised, not knowing how to react to what you had done just now.

Before he could ask anything, a loud scream was heard coming from somewhere. It sounded really familiar to Macaque, was that Wukong?

Macaque: "I have a lot of questions for you young lady, but they have to wait."

With that being said, Macaque ran as fast as he could to help who he thought was Wukong. Upon reaching the place, he saw Wukong floating in the air with one of those eyes staring directly at his. Macaque didn't waste time and immediately destroyed the eye with a powerful kick, making Wukong fall down. Of course he kept a firm grasp on you to make sure you won't fall, "Ba!" You exclaimed cheerfully while your tail was wiggling. Wukong groaned and sat up, a bit disoriented.

Macaque: "It doesn't feel good huh?

Wukong: "You're... What- What was that?"

Macaque: "That was the Hundred Eye Demon Lord. He's taken over every corner of this pagoda." He then looked at Wukong with a disapproving expression, "That "Thanks for saving me Macaque. It was difficult being trapped" was all forgotten. You even brought a baby along with you."

Wukong: "I don't.. We... Have a plan."

Macaque: "Really? You've lost to Li Jing. Му sacrifice was wasted Sun Wukong."

Wukong: "Actually, that kid- Mk!" He summoned his cloud and went to help Mk.

Macaque: "Wukong!"

And just like that, Macaque held you tightly in his arms and followed Wukong, hoping that Mk wasn't in danger.
