The Corrupted Queen

❝Forever's a long time, bud. Trust me.❞

THE LADY BONE Demon laughed like crazy as you tured to glare at Mk and Ne Zha, your eyes were glowing blue. This was never supposed to happen at all, she wasn't suppose to control you like this. What was worse was the fact that she only controlled your body, but not your conscious which means that you still can see everything.

"Admittedly, this is an unforeseen adjustment, but a fortunate moment of spontaneity nonetheless. Fate has delivered me the perfect champion." Lady Bone taunted as if she was proud of her achievement.

"But she was winning. She was beating you." Mk spoke up while looking at you with worry. You could see that he was scared, that he will be forced to fight you. You knew Mk looked up at you and respected you, he didn't want to hurt you because you were under her control. Lady Bone laughed which made Mk hold his head in pain, "Oh, sweet child. Perhaps now you finally understand how pointless your efforts to stop me truly are. The Samadhi Fire will be mine, and I will use its power to reforge this world." She stated and summoned her powers, "Go." She whispered her order to go and get Mk.

No! Mk, run!

Your voice rang out, but no one can hear you at all. Your body moved and you quickly went to end Mk, but Ne Zha pushed the boy away, receiving the hit instead. You stood up, staring at Mk with dull blue eyes. Mk was utterly afraid now that Ne Zha was out of the picture 

Stop! Don't do this!

Using all your might, you tried to stop yourself from harming your successor. Suddenly, Mk was pulled downward when a shadow portal opened beneath his feet. You instantly knew who was behind taking Mk away.

Macaque.

Just then, a powerful pain hit your head which made you groan and drop down on your knees, "Are you already showing uselessness now? You know what I can do when I'm disappointed, Y/N." Lady Bone spoke up and suddenly appeared before you, grabbing you by the neck. You couldn't move or fight since you were under her control. She tightened her grip that you felt your windpipe was about be crushed, "You better not lose the Samadhi Fire too. I won't allow anything, even my tools, to ruin my destiny." LBD stated before letting go of you, a bruise from her grip appeared formed on your neck while you tried to catch your breaths.

"Now go and get that girl."

Your body stood up and nodded your head obediently. You just wished that Mk would find Mei before it was too late.

Thankfully, Mk managed to get to Mei before you. She was in a temple, training on controlling the Samadhi Fire with the help of Redson. Mk told them that the Lady Bone was after the Samadhi Fire which upset Redson. This could only mean that LBD probably followed him which was right.

The sky darkened and you landed down on the temple balcony, "Monkey Queen?" Mei spoke up, seeing you in a different armor and looking rather cold. Mk quickly stood in front of Mei, "No. Not anymore." He stated with a frown on his face. Redson noticed what became of you and what LBD had done, "It's her. The Lady Bone Demon. She's possessed Y/N, just like she did with my father when we used that magic key to release her from her prison. Haha. Oh, boy." He explained nervously, earing him glares from Mei and Mk.

So Bull King is the one who let her out, I will have a word with him once this is over.

"So, we meet again, son of the Demon Bull King. You're right. I never quite thanked you for freeing me from my prison. Your father was the most fitting host for my power in the time we had. Y/N, on the other hand, well, she's something else."

The voice of the Lady Bone Demon rang throughout the skies. Redson frowned as he watched you take a step forward,  breaking the wooden planks under your feet, "I'm guessing we can't beat her." He stated while squinting his eyes at you.

"No, but if the Lady Bone Demon gets the fire-" Mk started, but he was cut off by the bone demon.

"That is one other thing I must thank you for. Creating the Samadhi Fire. Why, without you, I would never have been able to fulfill my destiny."

Redson lowered his head and clenched his fists tightly, "We have to get out of here. Now!" He exclaimed as turned his head to Mei and Mk. However, Lady Bone Demon had another plans for him, "But that is where your usefulness ends." She stated before you felt your body move on its own.

Run away! Go!

Before Redson could react, a punch was received in his stomach, sending him inside the temple. Your gaze then shifted to Mei, "There is nowhere left to run. No place you might go that I cannot find you. Why drag this on longer than is necessary? I have waited long enough. Bring her to me now." As she ordered, Mei started to get frustrated and fire circled around her. With this command, you dashed forward to get Mei, but Mk stopped in front of you.

"Monkey Queen. Stop."

Mk! Get Mei and run, don't stay here!

You wished that Mk would hear you, but it was hopeless. Still, you did your best to force yourself to stop right before you could hit the boy and that worked. This surprised yet boosted you to fight against her, "You're stronger than her! Force her out!" He tried to speak to you, hoping that this would snap you out. There was a moment of weakness in LBD's control, giving you the opportunity to fight more. You placed your hand on his shoulder, giving hope to Mk when he saw the blue light in your eyes dim. However, her strong force returned and pushed your struggles back.

"It's no use."

Your grip on his shoulder tightened and you threw him out of the temple, leaving you and Mei alone.

"The girl."

"MK?" Mei exclaimed and summoned the fire.

"So this is the power of the Samadhi Fire."

"Stay back. Or we're going to find out what burning monkey hair smells like!"

Lady Bone giggled in delight, "You think whatever happens to Y/N is of concern to me? She is a vessel. Nothing more. You would really destroy your own friend to save yourself?" She taunted as if she didn't really care about any of this. When Mei knew that it was no use being angry, she took in a deep breath and calmed down to control the Samadhi Fire, "Y/N knew the risks. It's what she would do if she had to. That's the hard part of being a hero. Breathe. Calm. Focus." She managed to control it and blasted a wave of fire toward you.

This is not good! My body will be destroyed at this rate.

You moved through the burning flames, approaching Mei calmly, "Hero. Please. You're not heroes. You're mere agents of chaos. The very thing I aspire to eradicate in this new world. No more destruction. No more disorder. I will have perfection." The moment Lady Bone Demon said this, you grabbed Mei's hand. Ice slowly started to cover her fist, going up her arm, "Mei, no!" Mk exclaimed and ran to help his friend. Mei had tears in her eyes and she smiled softly before closing her eyes.

What are you doing? Don't just stand still! Fight and escape!

An explosion happened and when the dust cleared, Mei was trapped in a crystal. You looked at Mk one last time before you and the dragon girl disappeared.

I'm so sorry, Mk. It's all my fault.
