YOU ALL WATCHED as Mk jumped into the pillar to sacrifice himself in order to save the world. You didn't want to lose him, you didn't want to lose someone close to you again.

You struggled against your restrains, ignoring the throbbing pain in your shoulder. Macaque noticed your struggles and got an idea, "They are the only one who can stop him. I will leave it to you, Y/N." With this thought, he used all his powers to free you and to attack Xiangliu. You winced slightly, clenching your injured shoulder, "Y/N! Get Mk away!" Macaque shouted at you. Your eyes shifted to him and nodded, quickly grabbing your sword and pushing Mk away from the pillar. At that moment, Macaque opened a portal, making you and Mk fall into it to teleport away.

The two of you fell from the portal on the ground away from Nuwa's temple. You didn't waste time and pinned Mk down. The boy looked at you with wide eyes, "No, Y/N! What are you doing?!" Mk exclaimed and kicked you away, mentally apologizing for hurting you more. You hit the rock behind you, hissing slightly in pain, "Mk, stop! You can't do this!" You protested, holding your wounded shoulder.

"I HAVE to do this!" The boy stated than leaped in the air. You didn't waste time and jumped after him, grabbing him by his ankle and slamming him down. However, he managed to stop himself. Mk stood up and looked at you with sadness and guilt, "Y/N, I-..."

"You can't just do this! I can't lose another beloved one... I have lost my family in the past and if I lose you too, I will never be able to live normally."

"You don't understand. If I don't do this, it'll be too late for everyone and everything to be saved!"

He stubbornly said and went to walk past you, but you grabbed his wrist to stop him again, "You don't have to be so impulsive every time! There are other ways of doing it!" You retorted, gripping his wrist tighter. Mk's sad gaze didn't disappear, he didn't want to hurt you or break your heart. It hurt him more to see you desperately trying to stop him from saving the world. It was as if you had accepted the world ending and preferred to be with him. However, he couldn't do this... at least not to you. That was why he decided to keep his feelings for himself, so that you wouldn't be left heartbroken and be alone.

This will be a secret he will keep even after his death.

"But this is the only way!" Mk told you, pulling his hand away. You gritted your teeth in annoyance because he didn't understand, "That's not the case.. You don't understond!-" You were suddenly cut off when something sharp pierced your side, making you scream in pain and fall down on your knees.

"And who said..." The nine headed demon appeared out of nowhere, ""You don't understand"?" Mk gasped when Xiangliu grabbed your head. Xiangliu frowned in mild anger, "Ugh, you're so stubborn and annoying yet quite resilient for a human. Who taught you this technique of fighting, hm?" He asked you, his eyes held a hint of amusement.

"What?"

"Well, nevermind."

The demon shifted his gaze back to Mk, "It's all going to end soon anyway." He then snapped his fingers, bringing the rest of the group with you three, "The Harbinger of Chaos knows his mission. Only by Sacrificing himself you can survive. Have you really thought about it through? Are you sure you want to stop him from doing this?" Xiangliu was obviously trying to manipulate Mk to sacrifice himself. That was so despicable.

"Mk! He is setting a trap for you! Don't fall for it!" Mei spoke up, tears appearing in her eyes. Xiangliu teleported beside her with a smug smirk, "No. whether he decides it or not has no influence by me." He then teleported away again when she tried to bite him out of frustration, "I'm just tired of being controlled! Tired of people locking themselves in a cage and never wanting to come out! Tired of them neglecting chaos, now they're rejecting their destiny!" He added as there was frustration in his voice.

"Kid, Don't!-" Monkey King was about to talk to Mk, but he was cut off by Xiangliu.

"Don't listen to him, MK. I wouldn't lie to you to make a sacrifice or not. lt's your choice."

Mk let out a deep sigh and turned to look at the pillar, "M-Mk..." You mumbled, your body feeling weaker with each passing minute. The young male looked at you with sorrow and apologetic look.

"There must be another way!" Pigsy tried to talk to Mk.

"Look at this.The world is about to end. And I can't just do nothing about it." Mk stated, clenching his fists tightly.

"Who's just sitting there and doing nothing? Defeat him first!" Tang added, struggling to free himself.

"Sacrificing yourself is definitely not the solution!" Sandy joined the two. However, Mk was still insists on his decision, "I have to save everyone. everyone." He stated firmly. The others tried to convince him more, but Mk didn't budge from his decision, "It's very difficult, but it doesn't mean I made the wrong choice." With that being said, he summoned his staff and went to the Pillar of Heaven.

"Mk... no." You mumbled and coughed out blood, your injury wasn't helping at all and it wasn't the time for you to be do careless and never protect yourself.

However, Macaque saved the day when Macaque used his powers once again to save everyone. As a result, the nine headed demon was cut off from the chaos and he lost a big part of his power. By the time Xiangliu's power that pierced your side disappeared, you collapsed down. Mei immediately rushed to your side, "Y/N! Y/N! Can you hear me?" She called out as she helped you sit up. You coughed lightly and forced your mint green eyes to open, "I'm f-fine... l-let's go get Mk back." You mumbled, struggling slightly to sit up on your own.

"No! I won't let you stop him!" Xiangliu suddenly screamed in fury, making you all shift your attention to him. Just then, Ne Zha arrived to help, summoning his mech to seal the nine-headed demon in a circle of pink flames, "Wukong, go!" The Lotus Prince said to Monkey King who didn't waste time to get on his cloud in order to follow and stop Mk from sacrificing himself.

It was up to Monkey King to stop him, but you didn't want to stay still. So, you stood up and chased after him, clenching your bleeding side. Meanwhile, your friends were tasked to hold back Xiangliu and keep him busy.

You just didn't want to lose Mk like how you lost your brother before.
