  Badgerpaw caught up with what she missed: Fernpaw was now Fernvine and Birchfur has banned her kits, the oldest being Shrewkit, the youngest Willowkit, and the others Dewkit, Thrushkit, Rainkit, and Gorsekit.
  "Today we shall name four new warriors. First, I hope that StarClan will accept Bearpaw as a warrior, with a proper warrior name, and I hope that they accept him as Bearclaw, for his bravery and loyalty," Sapstar mewed. "The other three we shall name are Baypaw, Applepaw, and Badgerpaw. Baypaw, you shall now be known as Bayshore, for your wit and calmness in pressures situations. Applepaw you shall be known as Appletree, for your willingness to stand up for the right thing. Last I give Badgerpaw her name, Badgerpaw you shall now be known as Badgerwish, for your kind spirit and the troubles you have gone through."
  The crowd cheered their names and as night dawned the three cats, and the spirit of Bearclaw guarded the camp.

  The night Badgerwish laid down in her new den and the next part of her life began.
