Sabine's POV

I hugged him again, this time hoping that he'll never leave me again.

"I won't leave you." He told me as I smiled and we let go.

"You need to stop doing that." I said and punched him lightly, he pretended I hit him hard and fell to the ground.

"Ezra." I said and laughed. I put out my hand to help him up but he pulled hard and I fell on top of him.

Hera laughed at our little scene. "Sabine you look nice."

I laughed from on top of Ezra. "I know right."

"Hey Mouse Circuits, Vent and Eights are on the other ship, you're welcome to go say hi." Hera said addressing the awkward trooper.

"I'll do that." He said and walked over to the ship and went on to greet his friends and I could make out Eights introducing Chopper.

"Meet the ultimate droid, ladies want him, guys want to be him the one and only Chopper." Eights said and I could hear them all bursting out in laughter.

"So when can we change you back?" Ezra asked me.

"So when can we get the chip out of your neck?" I said mockingly after him.

"We'll do both of those things when we met back up with the fleet and get an actual medic bay for you two." Hera said and Ezra jumped as if forgetting she was there. "Come on let's head back."

"Should we just take one and bring them both?" I asked Hera talking about the ships.

"It would be good to take two, but let's not get into that much trouble with the Empire." Hera said.

"Ok." I said checking my pocket again for the serum and was relieved when it was still there, all of us got on the ship and closed the door.

The three of us walked into the cockpit.

"Let's go home." Ezra said and pulled me into the chair next to him in the cockpit.

"That sounds wonderful." I said.

"Chopper get your rusty circuits in here, I need your help." Hera yelled to the back of the ship and Chopper beeping a protesting reply came up and plugged in.

Hera pulled the ship off Lothal's surface and we left the atmosphere, and the ship shook so I fell into Ezra's seat.

"Sorry." I said and he smiled.

"Don't be sorry." He said.

Chopper beeped at us.

"Ok I didn't need to hear that." I said as we jumped into hyperspace and I went back to my seat.

"Chopper don't talk like that we have a lady here." Ezra said.

He beeped some more.

"Hey I don't look like your grandmother, and you're a droid for starters." I told a grumpy Chopper.

"Chopper." Ezra said and hit him on the side.

He was about to do something else when Hera intervened.

"Ok stop guys we just got back together and you're fighting again." She said.

"Sorry." Ezra said and we sat there looking at the hyperspace lights.

"Boy, we have done a lot of traveling in the past few years." I said to them.

"Mhmm." Hera said and Ezra nodded in agreement.

We reached the fleet, after a while in hyperspace.

"We're here." Hera yelled back to the ex-troopers.

"Ok." Eights yelled back.

We docked to another command ship.

"Let's get you two to the medic bay." Hera told us. "Ezra go wake up Zeb."

"Ok." Ezra said and he ran off and I heard a crash.

"Oh you'll pay for that." The lasat said and Ezra came into the cockpit with Zeb on his tail.

"Wow, who's that?" Zeb stopped and asked pointing to me.

"I'm Sabine." I said, and Ezra face palmed.

"You look-" Zeb started but Hera shot him a look and he was wise to shut his mouth.

"Let's go." Ezra said and the four of us got up followed by Chopper.

"Come on boys." Hera yelled.

"Coming." Circuits said and the four of them came to follow us.

"You four report to the bridge, Eights you're in change." Hera told them.

"Why is he in charge?" Mouse said but before anyone could reply the three of them started walking off.

"Bye." Ezra said and waved to them walking away.

"Come on crew." Zeb said. "To the medic bay."

We all walked though the halls of the ship and reached the medic bay, Hera began to explain to the droids what they needed to do.

"Ok Ezra." Hera said and called him over. "They are going to remove your chip."

"Come with me." A medic droid said and Ezra followed the droid.

"Good luck." I told him and blew him a kiss.

"May the force be with you." Ezra told me and he disappeared around the corner.

"I'm going to go find the Ghost." Zeb said. "I heard it's in one of the hanger bays."

"Ok, take Chopper with you." Hera said and the two of them walked off.

"You have the serum." Another medic droid came up to me and asked.

"Yes."

"Come with me then." The droid motioned.

"I'll be here when you both get out." Hera said and she sat down in one of the chairs in the waiting area.

"Ok." I told her and followed the droid back to a little room with a bed.

"This shouldn't take too long, lay down." The medic droid instructed.

I laid down on the bed and handed the droid the serum and I quickly felt a sharp pain in my neck, and the same sensation took over and I screamed again, clutching my face.

Then it stopped and I shook my head clearing the pain and sat up.

"It was a success." The droid handing me a mirror.

I smiled as my old face smiled back at me and my old hair was back.

"Thanks so much." I told the droid and got up.

"You are free to go." The droid said and I walked out of the room back to Hera.

"Sabine I'm glad to see your face again." Hera joked and I sat down beside her.

"I feel the same way, is Ezra almost done." I asked.

"Yes." She said. "And Zeb commed and told me for us to met up at the Ghost."

I nodded and we sat there waiting for Ezra, about a hour later he came out.

"I don't feel any different." Ezra said rubbing his seemingly fine neck.

"We were able to get the chip out." The medic droid told Hera.

"That's great." Hera said and the two of us got up.

"Hey it's good to see your face." Ezra told me.

"I know that, come on let's met Zeb back up at the Ghost." I told him and grabbed his hand.

"You two are so cute." Hera said and we walked to the hanger bay.

I rolled my eyes and we got to the hanger bay and we went up the ramp to the Ghost and I smelled waffles.

"Waffles anyone?" Zeb asked as we got into the common area and we all sat down.

"Sure." I said taking and we all took one and sat down.

"Just like old times." Zeb said and we all laughed.

"Yeah, but Kanan's not here." I said and held back tears again.

"Oh Sabine." Hera said and held me close and I looked at Ezra and I saw a weird look in his eyes.

"Ezra?" I asked leaning away from Hera looking at him, worried. Did something go wrong in the surgery?

"Sabine, Kanan's not gone, he's still alive."
