Sabine's POV

I didn't know what to do. I was on the floor of the hanger and had just had my heart broken. What happened, that wasn't Ezra. And I felt the ship begin to tilt.

"We are going down. I repeat get to the escape pods we are going down." I heard a voice over my comm say and the world went black.

"Sabine wake up." A voice said and shook me awake.

"Hey hey stop." I protested. "I'm ok." I said waking up and looking around seeing the ship burning in the distance of the field I was laying in.

"Zeb!" I said and gave him a hug and recognized the purple arms around me. "I'm glad you're ok."

"Same here, do you know where Hera is?" He asked me.

"No." I said. "But what happened?"

"The ship crashed on Lothal, we lost a good amount of soldiers in the wreck, I was able to pull you out in time." He said.

"How did we crash?" I asked him confused.

He rubbed his head. "Umm about that Ezra went rogue and somehow managed to get his hands on a ship as Hera was getting him for surgery, he managed to take out our stabilizers and make us crash." He said,

"You think Hera's still in the ship." I asked worried and getting up beside him.

"I don't know I looked though the main levels and I only found you." He said.

"Wasn't she getting Ez-" I started remembering what Zeb said to me and Zeb already started running to the ship, and I followed.

We ran across the field to the burning ship and without hesitation; me and him ran into the bay.

"She might be either in the medic or cell bay." I told Zeb.

"I'll take the medic bay." Zeb said. "And you can take the cell bay."

"Got it, comm if you find anything." I said and he nodded as we both ran down opposite hallways to find Hera.

I had to squeeze my way to the cell bay where Ezra was held. Hera has to be alright she can't be d- she's not so don't think about it.

I made it to Ezra's cell and to my relief I found Hera, she was in Ezra's cell unconscious but breathing.

"Zeb." I commed. "Come in."

"I'm here what is it?" He asked.

"Hera's over here and she's alive." I said.

"Thank goodness." Zeb said. "I'm on my way."

I felt her chest and examined her body. Her gun was gone and she appeared to be stunned not knocked unconscious by rubble, because I didn't see any external injuries, I tried to pick her up but fell, so I grabbed her legs and dragged her out of the cell and I heard footsteps and drew my blaster.

"Oh it's you." I said seeing Zeb turn the corner.

"I got her." Zeb said and picked Hera up on his shoulders. "We got to hurry I don't know how long this will hold."

"I agree." I said as we both made our way out of the command ship, we were able to find a hole created by the crash to get out of quicker.

"Where is everyone else?" I asked Zeb as we walked though the field.

"They went back to near by farm to regroup after they've called for reinforcements." He told me.

"So that's where we are heading." I said.

"Yep." He responded.

"What's that?" I asked pointing to another smoke trail in the sky a little ways away.

"I don't know." Zeb said.

"I'm going to go check it out." I said.

"Ok be careful the farm is a few miles that way." He pointed to a few shapes in the distance.

"Got it, I'll comm if there's trouble." I said and he nodded and continued to carry Hera to the farm.

I ran though the field to the smoke trail and saw that it was a y-wing bomber, I noticed that the pilot's chair was gone. Hopefully who ever it was got out of there in time. I thought and turned back to follow after Zeb when I saw a figure a ways away get up from the ground. That must be the pilot, I should go check to see if it needs any help.

I walked over to the ejected parachute and chair and saw him unbuckle the straps.

"Need any help?" I asked walking up from behind.

"Not from you traitor." The figure said and turned around igniting his lightsaber.

"Ezra..." I said drawing my guns and he started walking to me.

"Ezra fight it I know you're still in there no matter what they did to your memories." I said changing my blasters quickly to stun.

"You are a traitor, I hate you, you killed him." He told me coming closer as I began to fire shots at him.

"Ezra please." I told him.

"My name is not Ezra!" He screamed and force threw me back.

And I stubbled and hit the ground with a thud.

"Please." I begged as he put out his hand and pushed my weapons to either side of me,

"And I will kill you." He told me as he dragged me closer to him with the force.

I looked up into his eyes as he pulled me under him and put his lightsaber to my neck, and for a second I saw blue come though the yellow eyes of Tekara.

"I love you please." I tried one last time hoping he wouldn't, and he looked at me again and I could feel that something inside of him was stopping this, even if he didn't know what.

He backed away from me and unignited his lightsaber.

"I can't, I want to, I need to, but I can't." He said and fell to his knees. "Run."

I scrambled up from the ground and looked at him and ran, I couldn't stay there I had to run. I ran until I reached the farm Zeb told me about.

"Sabine." Zeb said relieved and I gave him a hug, "What happened?"

"I'll tell you but first where is Hera?" I told him.

"She's fine the medic droid said she'll wake up in a few hours, so what happened?" He told me and asked again.

"Thats a relief, and Ezra was there at the smoke trail, it was his fighter and he almost killed me." I said siting down on one of the supply crates. "But he stopped and told me to run, but his kind wasn't in it, it was like he wanted to kill me with all his mind but he physically couldn't do it."

"We need to find him." Zeb said.

"No he's too dangerous, we can't find him now." I told him holding back tears.

"We have to." Zeb said.

"Zeb he wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone else, I can see that, we can't risk it." I told him.

"Fine we'll let him go." He said and sat down beside me and we watched as the rebel soldiers got set up and ready to wait for a pick up.
