Sabine's POV

"He said what, Chopper?" I asked out droid excited as the door closed with Tekara's last warning.

He beeped.

"Of course I care that you're safe but please tell me." I said.

"Sabine, calm down for a moment, Chopper, do you know what they got?" Hera asked the droid.

He grumbled and beeped.

"So you were powered off the whole time. Great, they could have gotten everything for you or nothing. Just great." Hera said shaking her head.

"Come on Chopper what happened?" I asked growing impatience.

"Sabine, how do you know that anything happened at all?" Zeb asked, scratching his head.

"He smiled at me before he left something must of happened." I said.

Chopper beeped again and began to tell them what happened while he was awake.

As he talked I grew excited but then my face fell hearing the end of the conversation.

"How did he not remember us before?" Zeb asked.

"They must of used some memory blocking device, and sometimes slips of memories fall though, probably with us here it made some memories get though." Hera said racking her brain. "And someone undid it, but who and why, I don't know."

I sat there not knowing what else to say, Ezra remembers everything but won't come back, I don't know if I can hope anymore.

"We need a plan." Zeb blurted out. "I'm down right sick of all this moping, come on someone has to have a plan."

Suddenly a realization dawned on me. "Well, if we have Chopper now...." I started as the others immediately started shaking their heads then door opened and we all jumped.

"Come on." Tekara said accompanied by a stormtrooper.

We all looked at each other confused afraid to make a move.

"COME ON!" He yelled, clearly trying to hid some emotion.

"Ok, ok." I said and got up and walked to the door followed by Hera, Zeb and Chopper with some protest.

We followed Tekara out of the cell and around the imperial ship, no one said a word. I noticed that the stormtrooper following behind Chopper seemed to act nervous. We reached a room and he opened the door, it appeared to be a meeting area and there was multiple chairs around a table.

"Sit." He said and closed the door, he then messed with the control panel some, I sat down and Hera, Zeb and the stormtrooper did too, what surprised me was he took off his helmet and sat it on the table.

Tekara came back and sat down at the table.

"Eights." He said and the stormtrooper began to speak.

"So guys we're getting you out of here." He said and I looked at Tekara.

"What?" I said and Tekara continued to show no emotion whatsoever.

"I'm going to get you to your ship and you are going to fly out of here." Eights said.

I was shocked and we were all quiet for a second the Hera talked.

"Ezra." Hera said and looked at the boy. "Do you remember us?" She asked and Chopper beeped protest.

He looked away. "DON'T CALL ME EZRA!" He said and banged his hands on the table and took a deep breath. "Yes I do Hera, but changing my feeling towards you doesn't mean I'm coming."

"Why aren't you coming?" I asked, but I already knew the answer and saw the pain in his eyes.

"I can't." He said. "I can still lock you back up and I wouldn't regret killing you either, I am apart of the Empire now so go before I change my mind."

Hera looked at me and I looked at her, she nodded knowing what I meant. Zeb, Chopper and her got up and followed Eights out the door. Eights looked worriedly at Tekara and he shook his head.

"I'll take her there personally." He said as Eights closed the door on me and Tekara and he led my friends back to the Ghost.

"So Sabine, I have a feeling you want to talk." He told me and sat beside me.

"I do." I said. "I know why you aren't coming, you want to protect us from the Empire, for yourself."

"You're right I'm not going to deny that Sabine." He told me. "I'm too far gone, the only thing I can do now is protect you."

"Ezra you're not gone." I said and looked into those yellow eyes.

"I'm not Ezra anymore Sabine, you need to accept that." He said looking back.

"Does that mean your feeling for me have changed as well?" I asked hoping that he still loved me back now after he remembers.

"It does Sabine it does." He said as I grew afraid.

"So you don't love me anymore?" I said, holding back tears.

"Sabine I still love you even when I didn't remember something inside of me did. I never stopped loving you Sabine." He said and I couldn't hold back tears anymore and we both looked at each other crying in each other's eyes. I couldn't help myself anymore, I pulled him close and our lips touched. After all this time he still loved me and I still love him. The spark was still there.

We stayed like that until he finally pulled away.

"I missed that." He said and we both smiled, but I still knew he still wasn't coming with us.

"I love you." I said to him.

"I know, I do too." He said.

"You have to leave." He said.

"Yes I do." I said.

"Do you mind if I carry you too the ship?" He asked and I laughed.

"Sure, I'll act unconscious and not like I'm enjoying it." I said and he laughed.

He picked me up and opened the door. Wow, he is strong. I thought feeling his muscles.  We got to the bay and I opened my eyes a bit and saw one trooper standing guard. That must be Eights. Ezra carried me onto the ship and Eights followed and I saw Hera and Zeb sitting in the cockpit area. He put me down and I stood up.

"It's time to go." Eights said and looked at us. "Bye, I guess." He said and waved to Chopper and walked out.

"Bye Hera." Tekara said. "I'm sorry about Kanan."

"It wasn't you." She said and brought him in for a hug.

"I needed that." He said and they let go off each other.

"Hi and bye I guess." Zeb said and shook Ezra's hand. "I hope we will see each other again."

"Me too Zeb." He said as Zeb gave him a head rub for old times sake.

Chopper beeped.

"Bye you rust bucket." He said playfully. "Be good for Hera."

He gave the three one last smile and walked to the back of the ship for us to say goodbyes.

"This is it." He said, facing me.

"I hope we see each other again, in another time in another place." I said.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too, Sabine Wren." He said and we kissed one last time. "Good luck."

"Thanks you too." I said as he walked down the ramp and I walked back to the cockpit.

"Ready?" Hera asked.

"No but let's do this." I said and sat down behind her and Hera started the ship and we flew out of Tekara's star destroyer back to the rebellion.
