Day 2

/day 2/
/just hold on/
/Taylor/
Taylor stepped out of her apartment to see a tall blonde boy smiling down at her. She looked up into his ocean blue eyes, and smiled back.
He pulled out a costa from behind his back, and they both ate in a comfortable silence until they reached the outside. Taylor followed him to a motorbike, and he hopped onto the front. She climbed on behind him, and pulled on a helmet he was holding out.
"Simon. I've never been on one of these before." She said into his ear.
"Oh is fine. Just hold on." He said, turning slightly so she heard.
"To what?" Taylor replied, realising there wasn't anything to hold.
"Me." And before Taylor could say another word, they were off. She could feel the wind in her hair and her heart was pumping like mad.
She scooted forwards so that her chest was touching his back and wrapped her arms tighter around him. She felt so safe, holding him, yet she was on a motorbike in the middle of a busy road.

Once again they walked in with linked arms, earning the same stares and whispers as the day before, yet they seemed to be louder today. Sometimes she could even pick out words they said like 'together' 'whore' 'a dare' but she knew there were probably 30 different explanations flying around.
He walked her to her first lesson where they unlinked arms and went their separate ways. Taylor plopped down in her seat and turned around to face Freya.
"How's it going?" She asked.
"Well. I really like him." Freya replied, earning a wink.
The teacher walked in before Taylor could actually respond and her attention was taken by the lesson.

The wind was once again flying through her hair, as she gripped onto Simon for dear life.
He suddenly turned from the route of Taylor's house, and she was confused until she saw a Nando's sign and Simon pulled into the car park.
They walked in and took their seat. (I've never been to Nando's so sorry if that's not how it works) before a woman came up to them and took their order. They sat in silence for a little while before Simon spoke.
"How have you been? Like since we were close," he asked.
"I've been ok I guess." She replied.
"Tell me more about you,"
"I don't like to tell, you have to work it out."
He sometimes hated how mysterious she was. She couldn't be read like most people. You had to get right inside and break down her walls before you knew her.
She feared him. Not as in she was scared of him, but she was scared of what he did to her, without him even knowing it.
He made her want to breakdown her walls and let him, yet that was a risk she would never really be willing to take. She couldn't trust anyone. Not after last time.
He slid an arm around her waist, and she winced a little but she looked up at him and he seemed not to notice.
He wondered why she flinched. Was she scared of him. He hated the thought of her being scared of him.
She leaned into his side a little, but only a little. She didn't want to seem weak already. She was strong and independent. Yet she wanted him so badly. She wanted to let him in. To let him see HER. But she couldn't.
She looked up at him, and he looked down, smiling. She once again got lost in his ocean blue eyes and on closer inspection, could see flecks of green right in the middle. They were amazing. They made her feel so safe, yet so lost all at the same time, and the worst thing was that she didn't want it to stop. Not ever.
Their food soon arrived and they ate in a comfortable silence before paying and walking out, his arm snaked around her waist once more.
She liked his arm there. It made her feel safe. Like nothing could ever hurt her. Like she finally had someone who could keep her safe. Like she was loved, even if she wasn't loved.
They walked until they reached her apartment, where they quickly hugged and she walked inside.
No one was home so she went and flopped onto her bed, thinking about everything. She decided to text him, just to say goodnight.
Me: goodnight
Si: going to sleep already
Me: yeh before my dad gets home
Me: ignore that
Si: what do you mean
Me: it doesn't matter
Si: well it does to me
Me: leave it
Si: no
Me: YES
Si: please tell me

She knew that, judging by how long he had been out, he would probably have forgotten he even had a child, so she would have to camp out there.
Only 98 days left...
