Sunlight trickled into the cave casting its strange rays upon us, I sat up and stretched. I looked out of the cave and felt as thought something was off, my thoughts immediately went to marionette. What if that shadow Nightmare hurt her, immediately I was struck by fear. I left making sure I wasn't followed, I made my way to where I had last seen marionette. I saw her standing there looking as beautiful as ever, I made sure he wasn't around before walking over.
"Springtrap!? What are you doing here if her sees you he's going to kill you!" Marionette hissed softly, I sighed.
"I know but I had an off feeling and well my thoughts immediately went to you," I explained quickly, she looked around her eyes filled with fear.
"He's in a fowl mood Springtrap! I tried to leave feeling homesick and well I missed you but he grew angry at me trying to leave and well he's out there hunting you down as I listened before I knew you all were nearby!" Marionette whispered quickly always looking around, I felt a small burden leave me now I knew she truly missed us. Suddenly I got an idea, it would be dangerous and bring plenty of trouble but it was worth the risk.
"Come with me! We can gather the others and leave! He won't find you again!" I pleaded, her eyes were filled with emotions.
"If I leave he will kill you all!" Marionette sobbed, I immediately wrapped my arms around her and held her close.
"Then I will stay with you!" I cried, I didn't want to leave her again.
"You must protect Chanda! She holds more power then anyone realises! If she is left unprotected great evils will seek her out!" Marionette pleaded, I looked her straight in the eyes knowing she wanted so badly to come with me.
"So, he did come, pathetic really I thought he would have LISTENED to my warning and stayed AWAY!" Shadow Nightmare roared, I stood in front of marionette my eyes defiant.
"She isn't your slave nor your little puppet! She is the only thing that turned me from my evil ways and if you try parting me from her again I WILL fight you for her freedom!" I sneered, Shadow Nightmare seemed to take the options carefully.
"Fine but if anything happens to her it's on your hands!" Shadow Nightmare growled walking off into the forest, marionette seemed both shocked and happy.
"Oh Springtrap you've freed me!" Marionette sobbed her arms wrapping around my neck in a tight hug, honestly I felt proud to have her in my arms again.
"The others will be so happy to see you!" I choked unable to control how happy I was, I grabbed her needle thin hand and we headed back to the cave. I beckoned for her to wait until I called her, my eyes were bright with joy.
"What's got you so happy?" Golden Freddy questioned, I gave a small jump with joy.
"Well you may want to get your welcome cards, you can come in now!" I called, I almost laughed at the shocked faces of the others as they saw HER again for the first time in well ages.
"P-puppet!?" Almost everyone choked out at once, she stood at my side only just taller then me her eyes happy and bright for the first time since I had found her.
"I may or may not have convinced our little body guard to let me keep her," I joked, only golden Freddy and Chanda knew whom I spoke of but no one cared as they flooded around her asking question after question. Honestly all I could think of was how happy she now seemed, she was after all my happy puppet. I backed off a bit to let the others give her cuddles and such, Chanda seemed distant having her mother back had come as a shock. Marionette pushed her way past the others to Chanda, both seemed locked in a silent conversation before Chanda leapt at marionette squeezing her in a tight hug.
"I'm so glad your back!" Chanda sobbed, marionette gave a soft smile. Both looked so alike other then Chanda's Nightmare teeth across her stomach and her one red eye, even the others seemed the be smiling with joy for once. Golden Freddy walked over to me, I was probably going to have to explain this to him.
"How come he gave her up?" Golden Freddy whispered, honestly I wanted to punch him.
"Because love is more powerful then we all realise," I whispered half to myself, golden Freddy flashed me a strange look before walking off. I could have sworn I saw jealousy in his gaze, I shrugged it off thinking nothing of it. Honestly everyone hadn't talked much of puppet since shadow Freddy had been slaughtered and his soul shattered, I shook away the dark horrible memories. James and Foxy stood guard at the cave entrance, Freddy couldn't have been happier and bonnie murmured quietly to Chica. I looked at marionette again and realised something, I had completely forgotten that Chanda and marionette shared their power.
"Chanda I have a question, if you and marionette share your power how didn't you know she was alive?" I questioned, Chanda rubber her arm.
"I'm not exactly that smart yet stupid, don't forget I also share Nightlocks power too so my version of thinking she was alive was the hope you gave me, after Nightlock was destroyed I kinda couldn't sense the power connection anymore even though I'm still connected to marionette," Chanda explained, now it made sense.
"Umm lads Ye may want to be seein this," Foxy called, we all rushed over and I noticed with great horror Shadow Nightmare hadn't been lying.
Ok so I'm trying to bring the others into these chapters more but the series is based around Springtrap, I also read back to the end of the other book and realised I said marionette wouldn't return 😐 oopsy. Anyways hope y'all enjoyed this chapter, I may not write for a while with school and camp coming up so yeah cya later.
