Chapter 36

Chapter 36- Training And Eating

You laid on top of a wooden wall, in dragon form, enjoying the steam and heat surrounding your body. Between both sides, had the males and females bathing in hot springs. You respectfully covered your eyes with your tail, so they won't feel uncomfortable.

"You sure you don't want to join us (Y/N)?" Sero called down for you, and you peeked, only to quickly cover your eyes in embarrassment.
"Nah, don't be on the boys side, come chill with us!" Mina waved her hand, but you just shook your head quickly.

Your ears then twitched at wood being stepped on, and saw Kota climbing up the wooden wall. He jumped when he spotted you, and you stared back, tilting your head in confusion until you heard shouts from the boys' side.

"Walls were meant to be climbed!!" Mineta shouted, and you saw him trying to climb the wall with his quirk. You and Kota both looked at each other, and knew what you had to do. The moment Mineta reached the top, you and Kota glared down at the human.

You gave a low growl, as Kota pushed him off the wall, unfortunately falling on Iida. You pitied the poor blue haired human.
"Thanks so much Kota! (Y/N)!" Mina shouted, giving thumbs up. That made Kota flustered and stumbled back.

Izuku quickly acted fast and caught him, taking him back inside. Next to you, you noticed that Kota dropped his hat from the fall. You gently grabbed his hat with your teeth and climbed down from the wall, turning into your human form to walk inside the house.

You walked through the halls until you found a door with voices on the other side. You were about to push the door open when you heard Mandalay talk.
"Kota's parents were the heroes that were killed on duty," Pixie-Bob said. You stopped and listened in, turning invisible just in case.

"Two years ago, they were killed by a villain trying to protect civilians. There's no other way for a hero to have a full stop on life, an honorable death," Pixie-Bob explained with tea in her hands.

"A boy at his age, he didn't understand. It was hard to explain to a kid that his parents died in honor." Mandalay said sadly rubbing Kota's head.
'I see, his mind was formed when they died, now he thinks they left him in this evil world,' You thought, continuing to listen in.

"He even doesn't like us that much, to him heroes are-" She was interrupted by Izuku.
"Terrible people he can't understand" He mumbled out.
"Yeah, and he doesn't want anything with them," Their conversation ended and you walked to the side to avoid the three of them leaving.

You put your foot on the door, pushing it slightly and walking to sit next to Kota,
"Ye may not hear me Kota, but I understand ye," you set his hat next to him.
"I don't understand heroes either, but maybe," You gently pushed hair away from his face.

"Maybe we can learn together,"

Apparently, even though you weren't a student, that didn't excused you from getting tough training with the others. Currently, you were testing the strength of your wings, by lifting them under the weights of boulders.

'Owowowowowowowow!!!' You thought in pain, balancing the boulders so your wings wouldn't get crushed, and legs were wiggling.
"I don't see any plasma blasts (Y/N)," Aizawa mumbled, sitting on your back, making you growl and shot out more plasma.

"Let's see the limits of your blasts, like your uncle," He said, and you felt very dehydrated at this point, and you wished that your uncle was here so you could punch him.

'I'm going to kill ye, Uncle Cloudjumper!!'

"Remember what I said last night! You all have to cook for yourselves some curry!!" Pixie-bob said with a grin. Both classes A and B were exhausted and Iida was trying to encourage you to cook.
"(Y/N), can you get the potatoes?" You nodded towards Sero as you spark up one of stoves.

"Coming," You tiredly hoisted up the boxes nearly collapsed by how weak your legs were. Eventually, everyone finished cooking.
"We did it!!" The classes yelled as they basically inhaled the food.

"If I ever got this at a restaurant, I'd sent it back. But after today, I'll eat every bite!" Kirishima said between bites.
"Food is food," You gulped the food down and sighed with content.
"Woah, Yaoyorozu, you're sure eating a lot," Ashido said looking at the girl.

"Yes, I can transform lipids into atoms that can become inorganic materials. Which means the more I eat, the more I can make," She explained curtly.
"Like poop?" Sero asked, making Yaoyorozu sulk in the back. And that also caused Jiro to hit Sero.

"Apologies idiot!!" She yelled. You smiled at the scene, wiping rice from your mouth, feeling full. You then turn your head to see Kota walking into the woods.
'He didn't eat yet,' You thought, getting up to follow.

You stalked through the woods, sniffing his scent until you stopped to see Kota sitting at the edge of a cliff near a cave.
"I hear that stomach from a mile away," You said walking up. He jumped at looked at you.

"How did you find me?!" He shouted at you.
"I followed you," You bluntly said, walking forward.
"I also have food, it may not be the best, but it'll fill yer stomach," You told him.
"Whatever, just leave me alone," He tsked.

"Spending all your life trying to be heroes, improving quirks to show off, it's dumb!" He scowled at you.
"Well, actually I-" You got cut off by him.
"LEAVE ME ALONE! He shouted walking away.

"I heard about your parents, they were heroes right?" You suddenly asked.
"How told you?! Was it Mandalay?!" He demanded.
"No, I learned from Zuku. I learned about the incident, I wanted to say that I was sorry about it," you tried to comfort him, but he only pushed you away.

"Shut up, people are crazy calling others Heroes and Villains, and beating each other up for it. Always using their quirks, and if they weren't showing off they'd still be here! They're idiots!!" He shouted, making your ears droop and tail flicked.

"Are ye calling yer parents stupid because they were protecting people like ye?" You narrowed your eyes at him, making Kota turn to look at you.
"What?" He spat out, and you continued.

"Their deaths weren't meaningless. Ye can't blame them for their own deaths, if they weren't there, a lot of people would have died," You explained softly, sitting next to him, staring at the sky.

"They cared about ye, I know they did. They were heroes because they thought of ye. Being safe, growing up happy, and wanting for ye to use yer quirk for the better," You sighed.

"And just because they're gone, doesn't mean that ye feel like it was their fault. They didn't ask to be killed, to leave ye behind here, it wasn't their choice to be killed by a Villain," He said nothing, staring at the forest in front of him.

"Don't live with hatred towards heroes and quirks, don't live a life where you resent something ye were gifted with," You told him, looking at him.
"And besides, I'm kinda like ye," You said smiling.
"How?" He finally spoke up.

"I might've not lost my parents, but I do miss them," You sniffed.
"I ran away from home, because I wanted to be like my Da. I got hurt pretty bad because of it, but I didn't give up, or blamed anyone else," You explained.

"I embraced who I was, and want to become an Alpha, because my Da protected my family as one, so I'll do the same," You smiled at him. He didn't say anything else, and stared at his lap.
"Ye should eat now, Goodnight Kota," You set the bowl down, and stood up.

"Think about what I said, it might inspire ye," You said, turning away to walk back to the house. Kota stared at the bowl, and your figure disappearing into the woods. He slowly took the food, and sighed, biting into it.

'Whatever... but thank you...'
