This is gonna be a short chapter so I'm sorry but hey it's summer so expect to see this thing update much more now , thank you all for your patience and guess what?! I passed chemistry thanks to my final !!! Remember that I had to make azurite by myself cause my teammates didn't do shit? Welp I'm done with that so I can work on my stories now!!! Anyway here is the chapter ...we start to imagine what Tony is truly planning ,😏😏😏

*knock , knock*

"Manny...it's me Clare, Tony isn't here at the moment...you wanna talk"

She wasn't sure what she was doing but Manny obviously needed someone right now.

"Umm, well I'm taking a bath but yea...we can talk",Manny assured.

Clare nodded as she too put on her loaned PJ and folded her new clothes in the wardrobe next to one of the beds.

She then proceeded to sit in front of the door of the bathroom to listen better.

"Alright , so what's going on between you and Tony?"

There was silence from the other end.

"I don't know what you mean "

Clare scoffed.

"Manny I'm not stupid, I can obviously see something is wrong with you two"

"Well I guess .....I don't know, he's just been more...I can't explain it ",Manny tried .

Clare heard water splashing , signaling that Manny was indeed taking his bath.

"Well, what's changed?, Anything happen or is happening that is different",Clare tried.

"I....feel different"

Clare's eyes widened as she scooted closer to the door.

"What do you mean 'feel different'?"

"Around him I feel....safer ...and..."

"And what?"

"I don't know....sometimes when I stare into his eyes its like ...I can see his emotions , so strong and vibrant....it's just... A feeling that I can't explain",Manny tried.

Clare could hear the stress he was trying to put in the words , obviously he has been thinking this through in his head.

"So you've been caught staring at him ?, That doesn't sound like something I would be comfortable with ", Clare said with a small ,amused smile.

"Trust me , he doesn't like it either",Manny chuckled.

"Maybe he's worried about you",Clare suggested.

"Yea I suppose, I mean he does ask why I'm always so tired and I did kind of spill my emotions and thoughts about being alone and stuff.....so I'm having a good day  "

"Hey , it will get better...I mean it's almost over but dinner might not be so bad ",Clare tried.

"Yea ..... anyways I'm about done, lemme just get out and put on my clothes and then we can talk more face to face "

Clare chuckled as she got up from the floor and headed next to the bed.

Tony headed upstairs with two plates of mash potatoes, green pies and a bit of salad. He tried to rush out of the kitchen before-

"Where are you off to?"

Tony looked down to see Paige blocking the exit and looking at him with suspicion.

"To feed the kids , what's it look like ?"

"Your acting strange",Paige said.

"All part of my plan , now move ",Tony said with slight annoyance .

"Your getting attached Tony , that's not part of the plan ",Paige warned.

"A slight bump on the road but it isn't affecting anything ",Tony said as he tried to pass by but Paige shot his a glare before he could even place a foot over her.

"You know that he wants Manny to suffer , and you becoming this friendly to him will ruin that , this isn't just about you Tony, we are all in this and Everytime you bend the rules-"

"I don't need a lecture from you Paige, I know exactly what I am doing and whatever you see me doing is all part of my plan so if you don't mind I'll be going ",Tony said as he went over Paige and headed upstairs.

Paige sighed angrily as she headed to the living room with Collins.

Tony was about to open the door but he heard Manny and Clare talking . It wasn't the fact that they where talking , it was what they where talking about that sparked his interest enough for him to not open the door quite yet.

"Well I'm with you on that, he can't know "

"What am I suppose to do? It's not like he makes it any easy "

"Well just ignore it whenever you feel like saying something, I know it's not healthy but if you ever want to talk...talk to me about it "

"Alright....yea...yea your right , i feel better now that I have that off my chest "

"Dinner is ready ",Tony said with a semi neutral tone as he opened up the door and put the plates on the floor .

Manny and Clare jumped a bit but once they saw the food they quickly got off the bed and sat on the floor.

"Thanks Tony ",Clare said as she took the fork and started to eat.

"Thanks ",Manny mumbled as he tried to not create too much eye contact .

Tony eyes him with slight confusion but decided to ignore it , as long as things where headed the right direction , and they where, it didn't matter to him wether Manny acted weird or not.

"Hurry up because it's almost time for bed",Tony said as he sat on the floor in front of them .

"Are you guys leaving tommorow agianst ?",Clare asked with her mouth full .

Tony thought for a minute,"no I don't think we will, we can all go outside of you wish ".

Clare nodded eagerly as Manny's eyes widened with both sock and excitement.

"Yay! I can't wait! Manny we can play and swim and -"

"But you must be very carful Clare , as far as I know Srignold is still looking for you and he won't stop at nothing till he finds you",Tony warned .

Clare finished the last piece of food on her dish before saying,"it's cool Tony, with this new look I doubt he will even recognize me, he can be pretty stupid you know ".

"Still Clare, we should be carful ",Manny agreed silently as he finished as well.

Clare looked at him and smiled,"no problem Manny , it will be fine now let's hit the hay, I am exhausted".

Manny yawned ,"yea...me too".

Tony grabbed the plates and got up ,"well then off to bed ".

Clare and Manny went to their respectful beds while Tony placed the plates on a nearby desk so he could take them down tommorow.

"Gnight Manny ",Clare sighed as he closed her eyes .

"Gnight Clare",Manny said with a smile .

"Gnight Tony ",Clare said softly.

Tony looked to his side,"umm....good night Clare...".

There was silence for a couple of minutes and Tony thought that the two had finally fallen asleep.

"Good night Sir",Manny said quietly.

Tony thought for a moment on either to respond back , a lot has been going on between then and as much as he hated to give Paige credit she was right about one thing.....

"...Goodnight Manny"

He was getting way too attached for his liking .
