Henry luckily knew what shrubbery was eatable otherwise he would starve since if he went into town he could reveal our location, it had been a few days since he arrived and I was slowly trusting him more but I couldn't shake the fear that Nightmare would win this fight. I couldn't run this time, no matter when he found us I had to be ready. Snow had begun to fall and I was thankful as it would slow Nightmare down, he had to stay with his army or he would have rusted and frozen them. Shadow Freddy and Golden Freddy came up beside me, I sighed.
"Thankfully the snow will slow him down but he won't stop killing until I show my face, when he nears our last battle place that is when I must go, if I am defeated or...... killed, make sure he doesn't find you all," I sighed, they nodded remembering their promise to me. James was so close to a cure for my infection but he needed to find it before Nightmare reached our last battle place, it would be a regular battle location out of the way of man. I learned the name of Henry's son, his name was mike. He was a funny thing and listened very closely when being told something, he followed and order without question. I was left alone now as the others went to see how James was doing, I went out into the snow. The world was now white and stunning, it was cold but at the same time hard to move in. I began to float so I could move faster, I looked around the white wonderland. I looked over the transformed valley, to it I was a strange monster. I watched the town in the valley, cars and people darted about getting from place to place. Even though my form was my full Nightmarione form my power was in a slumber while it wasn't in much use, I sighed as the cold began to make my movements slow which meant it was time to go back. I headed back to the cave, everyone was curious as to where I had gone but since I didn't even reply to the odd question they left me alone. I sat at the cave mouth and looked at my infection, it had begun spreading down my right arm. It had almost reached my face and across my chest, the hole Nightmare created was almost invisible. Nightmare had healed far too quickly but then again he had so many things to drain of energy, I held my head in agony as Nightmare began to speak to me.
"I'm coming for you Nightmarione you better be ready," he ended with a laugh knowing the infection made me weak, everyone stared at me in horror as I stumbled and fell. I couldn't understand what made their faces fill with horror, I looked at my reflection in a small pool of water and realised what they were looking at. Because of Nightmare getting in my head the infection had sped up and I began to be drained even though Nightmare wasn't here, only now did I realise why I grew weak with the infection. With my infection Nightmare was able to slowly drain my power, I stood but stumbled backwards holding my head. Nightmare was still in my head but he was doing it only to drain my energy, I looked at them with pain in my eyes. Shadow Freddy and Golden Freddy approached with caution as I stumbled backwards, James was holding a vile that he ran and stabbed into my back. Remembering what Nightmare did when he stabbed my back I turned and lashed out, James stumbled back a bit a scar across his face. I collapsed to my hands and knees as Nightmare was now trying to control me, I stood again and everyone was gone and was replaced with Nightmares. Nightmare was everywhere in my sight, there were so many of him.
"Am I real or am I not," came his teasing voice, everyone was trying to calm me. Shadow Freddy and Golden Freddy pinned me, James used another vile that stopped my infection from causing me to see Nightmare everywhere.
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" I screeched, everyone was now helping to keep me down except Henry and his son who stayed a distance back incase. Nightmare finally left me alone and I lay completely exhausted, everyone kept hold of me as James came back with a black liquid. This time he put it in my shoulder so I didn't lash out again, I gave a screech as pain shot through the areas where I had the infection. Shadow Freddy was saying something I couldn't hear over the ringing in my head, I attempted to move but I was forced down. I remembered nightmare having me pinned and panicked scared for my life, I was trapped in the memory only it had turned into a horrifying nightmare. I escaped their grasp and backed up, every living thing was nightmare once more. I backed into a wall as they closed in, feeling trapped I did what I do best when trapped. I vanished and appeared back in the white wonderland, the pain kept up but the infection had stopped growing and was very slowly shrinking. I realised what had happened and looked up the hill to find them trying to spot me amongst the dead trees, I also realised what nightmare had made me do. I had just used my power which alerted Nightmare I was up and growing powerful, I quickly got back to the cave fear striking me like knives.
"Nightmarione you ok you panicked?" Shadow Freddy asked making sure I was safe to be around, I nodded and looking into the distance.
"I-I was in a memory again, nightmare had me pinned and you all looked exactly like him so I did my best defence to get away and now he's more then likely alerted of our location," I explained still full of fear, everyone began to gather what they had. Now that I had panicked to the brink of using my powers we had to move before Nightmare found us, I looked in the distance and noticed smoke arising. Bushfire was out of the question but it meant something large had happened, we left as quickly as we could and away from the smoke. I kept my eyes on the smoke and as we reached the edge of the forest I looked at the fire and felt like I was just stabbed with a knife of fear, I looked even at this distance into the cold dead eyes that sent fearful shivers down my back. No one else could find what sent me into this fearful stance, I could just imagine his crazed laugh.
