Katherine walked into her new suite .
"Hello , you must be princess Katherine-Amelia " "just Katherine will be fine " "Oh , I'm Clara , your lady-in-waiting . I'm here at your service.... Oh I should show you around the suite " Clara said .

Clara was probably 21ish and had long blonde hair that was pulled into a beautiful bun . She had on a black dress that went to her calfs . She had on an apron around her waist but it did not go around her neck . She wore black flats .

"Okay , well here is the living area. And around this way is a desk . Through theses doors is your bed and a television. Also this doors is to your bedroom . This door is your closest . Press 776 in order for it to open and close. The crowned jewels are here . Oh and this is a pull that will bring me here " "thank you . What time is supper ?" "6:30 and I'll bring you there . Oh okay it's 12:28 so if you'd like to rest feel free too . I'm just going to you to relax "

Once Clara was gone Katherine opened the doors to her bed . There was a balcony that had a view . "Wow " she said . It was a tad chilly but she didn't mind . She was content with being out there .

She had looked down at the beautiful garden . There were fountains and statues . Tons and tons of roses and Lillies . And trees with fruits . She longed to go out there and breath in the flowery scents .

She decided it would be smart to look around her room . Even though she would only be there for a week or so . Then she would share a room . Her telephone rang . She ran to answer it .

"hello ?"
"Katherine ?"
"Darcy ?"
"Yeah "
"Oh Darcy ! I've miss you "
"I've missed you too . How is it there ?"
"Horrible ! The Queen is overly friendly . The prince is mad that I'm 15!"
"Katherine , you've gotta give it to him ! You are 15! He's 25-"
"Yes and he's will be 26 in about eight months !"
"Listen , I'm older than you -"
"By three years Darcy ! Three years ! Okay he's older by ten ! Ten years ! Ten years ! Do you know what ten years is ?"
"Uh-"
"A decade ! A lot of things happen in a decade !"
"Katherine , listen .. I know you don't want to marry him ! I don't want you too . But if you don't . There could be war ! And famine ! Please ! Please ! Marry him !"
"Are you out of your mind ! I thought you cared about me !" Katherine said into the telephone, and she started to choke up .
"I do care about you -"
"Then you would of stopped this ! I hate you ! Don't ever talk to me again !"
"Katherine your acting like a child !"
"I'm not a child !"
"Katherine! Your 15! Your not even an adult !"
"I am not a child !"
"Katherine ! You are ! Your under 18-"
"Don't call me Katherine anymore !"
"What do you want me to call you ? Your highness ?!"
"Yes ! I hate you !" She said and slammed the phone shut on the table .

Katherine sat down on the couch and pulled her feet to her chest .

The door opened . Quickly Katherine remembered what her mother said A Princess Does Not Cry !

She held onto her arm to make it look like she fell that's why she was crying.

"Oh Katherine-Amelia , are you alright ?" A male voice said . Her eyes widened. "I'm fine I just bumped my arm on the table " she said "Are you sure ?" The voice said then stood across from her . "Yes I'm sure " she said staring at the mans feet . "Oh , allow me to introduce myself . I'm David , or Davey , Jacobs . I'm Prince Jackson's right hand man . The Queen has informed me that you must go to a wedding dress fitting tomorrow. Your Lady's maid is currently getting some fabrics for you to pick from . Oh and supper is at 6:30" "thank you David " "Please , call me Davey " he said and bowed . He walked away from the room and closed the door .

Katherine checked the time . It was 6:24 she better scurry .

She walked out of the hall and saw Jack there coming out of his room . Katherine stayed in her dress she had worn earlier . Katherine figured if she was quite Jack wouldn't notice her .

That was a mistake .

One step on the floor and it creaked . Jack turned and saw Katherine. "Oh , Katherine-Amelia ? I didn't see you " "oh well you heard me I guess " "yeah" Jack said . Then he walked to her .

Katherine's heart started beating harder and faster and she swore he could hear it . He grabbed her hand and kissed it .

"I'd like to apologize for my behavior this afternoon . It was nothing against you . I just had horrible news delivered to me and I found you to take it out on " he said standing up .

"Thank you , apology accepted. I must compliment you on your strength . It takes a strong person to say that sort of thing . And once again thank you " Katherine said back .

"Do you know where your going ?" "No"
"I'll help you there Katherine-Amelia "
"Katherine "
"Hmm ?"Jack questioned .
"Just Katherine . I haven't gone by Katherine-Amelia since the womb"
"Oh , well then just Katherine I'm just Jack then . No your highness or Prince or Jackson needed "Jack said .
"Just Jack ? That's a nice name "
"Common if you ask me . My father had no inspiration."
"Well I feel like my parents had to much and j have like 20 names "
"Well I bet there nice. And our families think that your names would go nice with mine "
"Katherine Amelia Johanna Elizabeth Marie Pulitzer Jackson ?"
"No ," Jack said chuckling "Katherine Amelia Johanna Elizabeth Marie Pulitzer Larkin Kelly "Jack finished .
"Is there even enough room on a name plate ?"
"They'd probably just call you Katherine Kelly .... Good thing you don't have a k middle name our you'd be the KKK ."jacks aid laughing .
