Pacifica POV

"What do you mean?!" I demanded.

"One of the nurses saw the door opened. Then saw his clothes on the floor. Then his necktie is missing too."

"Oh tacos." I muttered.

"What was that ma'am?"

"Oh nothing...Was his necktie the only thing missing?"

"Yes. Nothing else happened. Nobody messed with his IV or inject him with anything...nothing. We think it was a gold minder."

"A gold minder?"

"They sneak in the hospital and go into people's rooms and take things."

I nod my head, "Thank you. I'll take care of it." Then I hang up, "We got bad news. Someone got Dipper's amulet."

"Oh great...not again."

By when Gideon said, not again...he was talking about what happened over the summer when I first came. Fiddleford had Will bring him this rift thing and capture me and Dipper, taking his amulet. Dipper doesn't remember it though. How he thinks how we meet was me spilling a smoothie on him...how I remember...is going to his show. That was when I first meet him...then we started to get to know each other a bit more at his party. Of course, Dipper remembers nothing of that. Fiddleford did something to mess with his mind and the only thing Will could do to fix him was to erase his memories of the summer but everyone else remembers.

I sigh, "We don't know who it is though."

"I hope they don't know what it can do."

"The hospital thinks that is was just someone going into rooms taking things from patients."

"You don't think that, do you."

"Think about it Gideon. Poison Dipper with a magical poison to kill him and keep him dead so his demon can't bring him back. Then going after his magical amulet..."

"This is all planned out." Gideon gasp, "But for what?"

"I don't know."

Gideon sat on the chair and think, "get rid of Gleeful so you can take his amulet....why not just sneak in while you're sleeping to save the trouble...Gleeful will come after you. Didn't know about his charms to keep him alive...but he's in a coma that he can't be awaken from. In the hospital...where you can just sneak in."

"He's after something else." I thought out loud.

"huh?"

"He's after something else! Not Dipper's amulet...he just needs it to get what he wants. With Dipper out of the picture...he can't be stop in getting what he wants."

"What about Mabel?"

I thought about that too, "Maybe he is going to use the amulet to get to Mabel. I'm not sure about that far."

"So he's after something completely different then what we think."

"The room." I muttered.

"What room?"

"The room that Dipper and Mabel store magical objects. There is a heavy duty security system to protect it. Mabel put it in because of what happened last time."

"When you got in for Will?"

"I didn't know at the time." I growled.

"Okay, okay, moving on...like how do you get in?"

I thought about it, how Dipper explained it. "You need..." Then I stopped myself as realization just hit me, "You need the amulet."

"That's why he took it."

"And..."

"And?"

"You need a finger print."

"A finger print? Did they cut off Dipper's finger too?"

"No, no. Then they would know that we will be on them and what they are after...no it's just easier to get his finger print off of a book or something."

"Or even get it off of him in the hospital."

"I need to talk to Mabel, she is the only one that can change the code."

"Well where is she?"

"Who knows!"

Gideon groaned, "What could they have down there?"

"Anything."

I then headed to my phone and tried to call Mabel, she wouldn't answer. I grumbled, "Little witch." Then after the beep I gave my message, "Mabel, I figure out the guy's motives. He's after the magical room that you have down stairs. He took Dipper's amulet too and I'm guessing finger prints too. I need you to get this message and hurry up and change the code or something. Now, Mabel." I then end the message.

I then tap the phone on my hand, "She isn't going to get this message in time..."

"How long do we have?"

"The hospital was just robbed...he could be here anytime."

"Well here comes Gideon saving the day again." Gideon announce as he was leaving the office, "Where are you going?" I asked.

"Going to guard the thing. You are saying up here where it is safe."

"No way!"

"Pacifica, I would love to help you come but I doing this for you and the twins. This guy is mean and I don't want to risk the twins. Dipper would be right with me."

I sigh, "Alright, but are you sure that you can guard that door by yourself? He has Dipper's amulet."

"Oh trust me...I can. Ever since you married him I was worried what Mabel would do to me. So I've been studying the amulets and in fact there is a spell that can deactivate them."

"Oh, really? You got to teach me that."

He smirked, "Of course." Then he headed out the door but before he left he faced me, "Be safe okay? Promise me this."

"Alright."

"You cousin promise?"

I chuckled, "I cousin promise."

"Good."

Then Gideon left. I looked around the desk area. This was a huge mess and I was really hoping that everything will work out that we get this guy and find a way to get Dipper awake and back.

I then headed out of the office, closed it up and headed to the kitchen. It's been a long and stressful day, I need food and chocolate. These two really loves chocolate I liked chocolate before I got pregnant but now I'm like addicted to it because the twins want it so bad.

After eating another can of chocolate frosting I headed down to the basement, "Gideon? Gideon?"

"Paz? What are you doing here!" I heard his voice.

"Well I'm not here. I'm just at the doorway. Dipper told me to never go past the doorway. See I'm following both of your rules. Has anything happened?"

"Nope but you never know."

"Okay. Just wanna to check up on you."

"Okay, just let me know when Dinner is coming. Since I'm here I could eat that cook's food. She's a great cook. You should pay her some more."

I chuckled, "I'll talk to Dipper about that, but I'm so with you."

"Cluck! Cluck!"

"Hannah?"

"N-No...Hannah isn't down here...."

"Gideon."

"She wanted to help and you know how well she can fight. Plus the company."

"Alright, alright. I'll let you know when dinner is ready. Please be safe."

"Of course! I've been studying lots of things just in case the Gleefuls did anything."

"You got to show me some tricks, Gid."

"Well dah, of course after we catch this jack head."

"Gideon..."

"Yeah?"

"Thank you."

"Anything for you Paz, even if I don't like the husband."

With that I closed the door and headed upstairs. As I was going up the stairs to go to my bedroom, the door to the office was cracked opened. I know I closed it and locked it up. Someone was in there.
