Amy's pov

"Come on sonic, you have to come with us. it'll be fun" I said as I tried to convince sonic into going on vacation with us. "No! I don't want to go to the beach" said sonic behind his locked bedroom door. "Sonic either you come out or I go in there and kiss you" I said with a smile on my face. then a blue streak went flying by me. "Come on, let's get to the car" said sonic.

Sonic's pov

I ran to rouges car and got in the back seat. when I look over the row of chairs to the back I saw shadow asleep wearing head phones with pillows all around him and a doll that looked like Maria. "hey rouge how did you get shadow to come?" I asked a little confused. "well.. I sorta kidnaped him when he was asleep, gave him sound proof head phones, and some pillows so he won't feel the bumps in the road" rouge said with a wicked smirk.

We were on the road for 5 hours and I had fallen asleep. I woke up to the sound of shadow talking in his sleep. I turned in my seat to see him shifting positions as if he was having a night mare.

Shadow's pov (nightmare)

I was running through space colony ark with Maria, we were running away from G.U.N troops that wanted to kill me. "Come on Maria, the space pods are right through here" I said pointing to a steel door. as we made our way in the room I threw chairs, desks, and computers at the door to block it off, as Maria typed in the destination for the pods to go to. "Ok shadow I'll set the destination for earth, get in the pod" she said with her frail voice.I was waiting for Maria to come when the glass door shut.

I turned around to see Maria pushing the lever that started a count down. "Shadow please promise me you'll do everything you can to protect the planet earth and the innocent lives on it" said Maria in a sad voice. '8, 7, 6' said the computer as it counted down. "No Maria! I won't leave you" I said as I tried to break the glass. then G.U.N troopers busted down the door and shot Maria. '3,2,1' said the computer. "Nooo!" I said as I was shot into space.

Sonic's pov

"Maria!!" shadow shouted as he woke up from his nightmare panting and sweating. he looked over to his Maria doll and hugged it tightly while I saw tears forming on the corner of his eyes.
