Chapter six: School of Horror (Part 1)

Max, Alex, Castro and Bailee were in the car, riding deeper into the demolished city of burning buildings, abandoned playgrounds and worst of all, burning schools and hospitals.

Castro smells the air and holds his nose. "Ugh...What's that smell?!"

Alex smells the air. "All I smell is ribs"

"Because all you think about is ribs, Alex" Castro commented in sarcasm

Max, who was still driving, facepalms himself and kept quiet.

Bailee, on the other hand, responsed with. "So that's what this is. I though it was sack of rotten onions"

Alex looks back and clenched his fists. "Hey Castro, you smell that? That's the smell of Alex getting mad!"

Bailee then broke the sentence. "Smells like a Raccoon died in a diaper factory"

Max suddenly stomped on the brakes and looks at everyone, as the car comes to the halt. "That's fucking enough!! I'm tired of this shit. So it's either your staying in the car and have a decent conversation with each other or I'm crashing this car so you all can burn and die!!! Your choices!!" Max yells as he had enough of their harassment for the last two hours that he had kept quiet.

Everyone was silent until Alex gets out and peeing next to a building.

"Everyone take a piss or shit now because I'm not going to stop now" Max said and gets out, so did Castro and Bailee.

As everyone finished their businesses, Alex saw a school in the distance, that wasn't engulfed by fire, and thought for a moment
'Maybe we can find some supplies there' he thought to himself and went to tell the group.

Max and Bailee agreed to go there as well as Castro kept quiet.

Three minutes later, they arrived at the school, seeing the windows were boarded up.

Max felt that there was going to more infected than they had fought with before. "Ready?" he asked the group.

Bailee nodded determined to go inside the school building and kill infected for the sake of determination.

Alex agreed with a sigh and yes.

Castro was already at the entrance, ready to kill.

"Hey no fair, I get first kill!" Bailee whined and runs inside.

Castro and Alex followed after Bailee and mumbled insults to each other, while Max would occasionly stop them by either staring at them or threaten to leave them behind.

As they walked through the halls of the abandoned schoolhouse, instead of finding any useful tools, they were greeted by a Special Infected that goes by the name "The Witch", which looked like a woman, in a sulking position on the floor her back towards the group and had on a torn shirt and pants, grey hair and extra long finger-like claws

Everyone heard its human-like crying that you would hear from a woman and they approached it slowly.

Max shines the light on it and realized it got startled but he shines his light away, seeing as it started to calm down and return to its sulking position

Bailee watched it carefully and tells them to move forward as she'll watch for other infected from behind.

Castro was already ahead of them as he walked into a class room, seeing another Special infected, called "The Jockey" which had its spine showing through the skin, short blue shorts, big hands and feet and was shaking twitching and looked as if he was crouched down forward.

"What the fu-" Castro couldn't finish his sentence as the Jockey saw Castro and immediately jumped onto his neck and started to move him around, as if he was a horse.

Castro screams for help, which caught Alex's attention and started to shoot the Jockey on his spine, making the infected go limp and lifeless.

Castro throws the now dead Jockey over his head and looked at it. "What the Fuck is that thing?!" he said in a raised voice.

"That's a Jockey, my sister Zoey told me about all the special infected and how to avoid them" Bailee explained as she looked around.

"Let's just hope we don't run into anymore of that thing" Castro said and rubbed his neck.

Max looked around and silenced the duo.

There was a silent growl in the distance, which sounds like a predator that found its prey and was ready to attack
