Abiola's POV

I sat down in front of Ayo, I had finally decided to start up tutor back. It's been a week since Tobi left, its been a week, since I've been blaming myself for not letting him stay. Oh well.

"Are you sure you're OK?" Ayo asked me, to be honest I, myself don't know.

"I'm great, just tired. How many questions today?" I asked changing the topic. He looked at me weirdly before turning his gaze back to the paper he printed. I really wasn't in the mood, but I don't want my mom having my head on a platter of gold.

"Just 100, Konyii said, I should go easy on you." He smiled after mentioning her name. I sneezed. While people are catching feelings I'm catching cold, it's all OK.

"Are you sure you're good?" He asked again, this time looking more worried. I smiled,

"I'm good, really." He nodded, then passed me the papers. I looked at the questions and they seemed, easy, except from a few, which I could remember the questions faintly. I just need to crack my brain a little more.

After 15 minutes, he took the paper from me. I just groaned, I hadn't even done up to 70, my mind kept drifting away. He looked at me again, pushing his glasses down, while I pushed mine up.

"You definitely aren't OK." He said going back to my paper. His eyes widened and I squirmed. "You barely passed 45!" He whisper shouted.

"I'm sorry, my mind isn't really here." I dramatically slumped on the table almost knocking off my hot coffee.

"What exactly is wrong?" He asked putting the papers aside.

"Did he really leave?" I asked. His face first contoured to that of confusion, before realization dawned on him. He smirked at me.

"Of course, he did. You saw him leave." He said, looking back at my papers. "We need to focus, you have exams in three months, I think less. So.... " He trailed off, still looking at my paper in surprise.

"Alright." Then he began asking questions, to which I kept mixing the answers and question up. After a extra thirty minutes, we finally decided to call it a day.

"You need to focus, its final exams we're talking about here. Very sure Aunty Bisi won't be happy with this." He said raising the papers up to my eye level. I moved my eyes away from the paper.

"Can we not show her?" I asked looking around. He smiled.

"Only if you promise to do better next time." I let out a small smile.
"OK." My phone rang, making me bring it out from my back pocket. I looked at the caller id. It was unknown.

"OK, see you tomorrow." Was all he said before walking away to his car. I looked at the number again. I felt like, it was Tobi calling me with a different number for some reason, so I picked up.

"Hello?" The voice was different and slightly deeper than Tobi's, so this definitely isn't him.

"Hello? Sorry who's this?" I asked, trying to be as polite as possible, hoping it's not one of those psychos that always called the wrong number.

"Oh, um.... It's me, Wale." Wale said. Wale, Wale. I kept trying to remember where I heard that name from, then it clicked.

"Oh, hey." I said a little uncomfortable, while walking to my car.

"Are you busy or something?" He asked and I heard shuffling. I contemplated if I should lie, since I'm free now, or I should just say the truth. I went for the latter.

"I'm not really busy." I replied while getting into my car.

"Oh, um.... If you don't mind, could we maybe catch late lunch?" He asked while I was about to turn on the ignition of my car. Why would he ask me for late lunch? Now I'm regretting why I said I was less busy.

"Oh, sure?" I replied, honestly, I didn't feel like going. I'd rather spend my remaining day in the comfort of my room.

"It's OK if you don't want to." He said chuckling a bit.

"No, it's alright. When and where do we meet?" I asked as I brought my car engine to life, pressing harder on the pedal making it roar really loud. I brought my Lamborghini.

"Where, do you think?" I rolled my eyes. Why would you ask me to lunch and have no idea where you're taking me to. I guess he sensed what he did before quickly adding, " How about we go to Lasan?" He asked. Lasan is an Indian restaurant in Westhill, Aberdeen. They have very good food, though it's very fancy.

"Um..... OK, I'll be there in Twenty." We said our goodbyes and I drove off. Connecting my phone to my car's bluetooth and asking it to call my mom. When she picked up, I told her I was going out and she just said, I shouldn't stay long. Which is what I had expected.

"Hey." He said immediately I came down from my car. It had taken me exactly twenty minutes to get there, which was because of the little traffic on my way.

"Hey." I smiled, while we walked inside the restaurant, after he had helped me open the door.

"Hello ma'am, sir. Welcome to Lasan, table for how many?" A blonde tall and lean waiter came to ask, immediately we got inside.

"Hello, table for two please." Wale answered, then the waiter directed us to one in the back, which had very beautiful posters. It had posters of ancient times in India, since it is an Indian restaurant, it also had paintings of different people and culture, even short stories in form of paintings.

We sat down and looked at their menu, the foods looked quite delicious and I couldn't make a decision fast. While Wale had made his order, I was still looking for something. I've been here once before and had the signature chicken but now I want to try something different. I looked up to see Wale staring at me patiently, atleast, it seemed so. In other not to waste more time, I finally decided to have the special biryani and signature chicken. I gave the waiter a small smile, before he walked away. I looked at Wale again, now what?

"So..... Are you working, or still schooling?" He asked. At least the, he started something. I shrugged.

"I'm still a student, a final year medicine student. You?" I smiled as I remembered I have my finals in less than three months.

"Wow, I'll call you doc from now on and I have a company of mine. Adenuga Oil and Gas." I smiled and nodded, I really didn't know what to day or do. If it was either a certain person, I won't really hold back......

We stayed in silence for sometime, before the waiter came to save the tense atmosphere. He dropped my food first and then dropped Wale's food. Dropped our drinks and left. We ate in silence, a deafening one at that. I felt really uncomfortable, I've never been this quiet in my 22 years of living. I glanced at him and he was focused on his food, I rolled my eyes.

After a while, we were both done. He looked up and cleared his throat.

"So..... How was it?" He asked as he smiled.

"It was great, I loved it." I smiled back, it was getting hard to continue smiling. He nodded.

"If you don't mind, maybe we could go to the park sometime?" He asked, glancing at his phone. Guess work was calling.

"Um, if I'm not too busy, sure." I brought out my card to pay for my food. The waiter came back with a pos and Wale gave him his card. I shook my head. "I'll pay for myself." I raised my card up.

"I asked you to lunch, it would be rude if I let you pay." I still shook my head, not going to let him pay.

"No, it's fine. It's not even expensive." I smiled back, but it didn't reach my eyes. He looked at me and smiled, nodding his head. I paid and he also did the same and we both walked out.

"So.... sorry this didn't go as planned." He scratched the back of his head and looked at everywhere but me. We were stood by my car.

"It's no problem at all." I looked at my hands.

"Next time?" He asked.

"Sure." I looked him in the eye this time. We stood there for sometime before I turned around and opened my car. "So, next time." I nodded and he did the same. I got in my car, waved and zoomed off. That was one awkward lunch.

I was supposed to have put this down two days ago, but.......... Me lazy ass didn't. Hihihi.

So... What do you think about his Wale guy, he's not as flirty as I thought😒😒 I was already thinking he would snatch her up. Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwww(hisses).
